The first day I got the Thai tofu salad for which I paid $15. The salad's tofu is only two thin slices. I understand about a restaurant keeping its food costs down, but tofu is a very inexpensive ingredient; it felt like a total ripoff. The peanut dressing was rather bland and really thick-the consistency of thick hummus-that stuck to the salad in thick globs even after I stirred it. If I got this at the airport for $15 I wouldn't be that disappointed, but for a normal restaurant it was below par.
The second day I got a Caesar salad with added seitan. As I waited a worker pulled a prepared Caesar salad out of the grab and go case. I asked if that was my salad (I thought for the price I was paying I'd be getting a freshly made salad.) She said yes, but her coworker told her because I'd added the seitan they'd make it fresh for me. The salad was pretty good and the dressing was great. I also got a cup of the daily soup: pinto bean with pumpkin. It was very thick, bland, and overly salty. My husband got the daily special-a burrito, as well as a side of Mac and cheese. They were both a bit bland, and the Mac and cheese was also a little dry. The Caesar salad is the only thing we even finished.

Chef Tonya is better than ever. - Edit
I have been a Vegan since 1996 and consider Tanya somewhat of a celebrity. I was excited to visit here on my next visit to Palm Springs. I visited here with my meatitarian dad and we both agreed the Guadalahara Burger was the best burger we ever had. He mentioned it was better than anything he ever had at In-&-Out, to which I agree! It is nice to find a Vegan restaurant that puts the quality of food over profit.

Reigning Champ in Palm Springs - Edit
Chef Tanya has been doing it longer and better than everyone else. If there’s ever a doubt, stop by one of the many Tower Market locations and grab a sandwich. Simply love their food, staff and ethical mindset. The Apple cobbler should all be left for me to consume….nothing to see here folks!

This is one of the best places we ate during our southwest roadtrip. It's definitely more of a takeaway place (would be a great restaurant though!!). Quality of food is amazing. Not trying to substitute animal products with highly processed meat substitutes which I love. I prefer a homemade creative dish over a beyond burger anyday! Very very tasty! Were hesitant to try out a differemt place, but very happy we came here. Would definitely come back!

I really liked to chupacabra chick’n sandwich. I would definitely come back and try it again. I was a little disappointed with the quinoa lemon veggie. While it was good, I wanted it to be a bit more lemony. I did not taste any lemon at all. It is a very different set up from the other location. There is a small shop and ordering desk with a seating area two doors down from the small shop. Super friendly staff.

Lots of vegan items for sale while you wait, some of which was even reasonably priced.
Worth a visit, but be aware of the shortcomings as it really needs a better location, and far more space.

I overlooked the food due to outstanding customer service. Walked away with stuff I got the other day. All was good and preparing is always done with care. Tons of pickup items in frig,i.e, salads in frig. Leaving the main street can b challenge during rush period. Parking in rear, if none upfront. A bit tight inside. Space can get busy.

The food is delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. We’ve tried practically every sandwich they offer & each is delicious. Their potato salad reminds me of my grandmothers. The portions are a good size. Oh my goodness the desserts have me salivating just thinking about them. They also have a small grocery store with lots of vegan deliciousness. You won’t regret eating here. It’s the best in Palm Springs.

I got the modern hippie veggie with a side of Mac and cheese. Very fresh and tasty. I was happy with the size of the side of Mac and cheese - very plentiful!
My husband got the chupacabra chick’n and it was AMAZING!
Very unique and delicious flavors.
There is a little sitting area and restroom in the next building over.
