Chef’s Tanya’s is a one stop shop for amazing food, great homemade drinks, incredible sandwiches and great vegan lifestyle gifts. Tanya herself came to chat to us and explained her new venture, the Kreamery, her great new vegan ice cream store next to the main cafe.

Best vegan food in Palm Desert! - Edit
Came through Palm Desert after camping in Joshua Tree for a few days. We ordered our food, and then got to look through all the fun things in the store. Unique place with a really fun vibe, and be sure to get the chili crack cheese fries when you’re here - they’re amazing!!

I had the Cubano and fries. Both were very delicious and very filling- big sandwich and lots of fries- enough for 2 people to share for a not so filling lunch or dinner. Friendly, helpful staff.

Everything about this place was awesome. The food, the staff, the shop. I literally couldn’t be happier with Chef Tanya’s. I got the Asada Seitan Taco special, a fusion fruit drink and a delicious huge peanut butter oatmeal cookie.

The chickn' sandwich prepared on point and delish. Was light and not overly heavy. Carrot cake was good. Fries were a disappointment. Never ever. Did not check before leaving. WOA, ✔️ your grub. Cafe via store is a visitor,s paradise. Amazing unique things to consider.

My first trip was 10 days, I ate here 9 of those days. I went home and dreamt of the day I would be back to eat this delicious food. I just returned home from another 10 day trip and ate 13 meals at the Palm Desert location and then stopped at the PS location to load up on sandwiches and tempeh to take home with me. I just can’t get enough of that BLTA with crack cheese!

Very tasty „fast-“ food but a little expensive. Had the Guadalajara Burger which was nice, maybe less flavors would make it perfect for me personally. They make their tempeh in-house and everything’s organic which is awesome! Their pre-packaged Chickpea/Cauliflower salad was very tasty even though I don‘t like food that’s not made freshly. Their menu is huge.

I tried the Chupacabra Chick'n and smoked (vegan) chicken pasta as a side dish and it was delicious. The roasted cauliflower however tastes mich better, next time I'd go for that one instead.

Came by very hungry. Lots of choices but had to go with the banh mi. One of the better ones. Only complaint is the veggies or tofu must have been stored in juice and it made the bread a little soggy. The boogie cake 👍🏼👍🏼

We just had lunch here and it was AMAZING! The location was a bit tricky to find at first but I’m so glad we persevered and found it. Finding vegan food in the area is not easy and Tanya’s is an oasis! It was so delicious. We got 2 sandwich’s, the potato salad and a side of crack cheese to go - I will definitely be stopping here again before we head back to LA. There are super cute vegan related gifts and groceries as well 💖🙌

What a joy to have CTK in Palm Desert too! The best vegan food in PD/PS area by far. Nothing compares. I’m obsessed with the broccoli cheesy soup, oh my gato taco salad, cheesy panini, quinoa salad, guru chai.. the list goes on. The marketplace is full of wonderful vegan items, locally and internationally sourced. Perfect for gifts (even if it’s for yourself). Thank you Tanya and team, can’t wait to come back!

I had a seitan burger, which was delicious. A large piece of seitan cooked in a tasty sauce and piled high with accompaniments. For a side, I had a Moroccan cauliflower salad. Very interesting and nutritious.

Mulitple options, beautiful atmosphere, but the food has never made my taste buds scream. I generally wouldn't write a review thats not in total praise but after my last visit I was pretty disappointed (visit #4).

I inquired with the desk (cashier & cook) and was told "no no thats the cashew cheese" she assured me what I was referring to was not mayo. It was lettuce wrapped so I didn't undo the paper took a couple bites and became very light headed fully deconstructed it and YES MAYONNAISE was in the middle
As a customer I'm understanding of a mistake but bold a face lie is completely acceptable. Especially when you have food allergies

i love Native Foods, so i had high expectations for CTK. I got the BLTA and it was absolutely slathered in mayo, not cut all the way through, and the tofu “bacon” has nearly no seasoning. immediately upset my stomach. the staff were fine but cold. the shop up front is very cute though and has lots of unique products.
