ive tried about a dozen items from the menu and they were all absolutely delicious! ive never liked seafood, so i never really had much sushi before going vegan. ive tried 4 different rolls from here and loved them all! the wings are also SO GOOD with the most perfect buffalo sauce. do yourself a favor and go! you might even get to meet chef kenny!!

Read moreI got the orange chicken and found it to be extremely bland. I was bummed because usually orange chicken is a safe and easy choice.
My dad got the beef and broccoli. He’s not vegan and really liked it but I tried some and thought the beef was weird and chewy.
I’m not a sushi fan, but my whole family ordered the dragon roll and they all were obsessing over it. They all liked the sushi the most.
I did really enjoy the cream cheese wontons!
The employees were very nice and the restaurant is very cute in the inside. They gave us little melon candies with the check and they were so good we went over to the honk Kong mall and bought some after we left.
So this review is mixed. I wasn’t a fan and probably won’t return but the rest of my family did enjoy it for the most part.

This food was amazing, there was only one dish I wasn’t too crazy about. We had the Rainbow roll, and sexy roll, both we great. I regret not getting much sushi. We got the general tso “chicken”, and the black pepper beef strip, the Chef Kenny’s combination fried with beef wasn’t too amazing. It was good but not to comparison to our other dishes. The price is on par with any other sushi restaurants. Overall it was a great experience and when I visit houston again i will definitely come back. There was a homeless man who walked in asking for change, I think this is an isolated incident so it shouldn’t be large problem by any means. #Veganuary

This was my first time eating sushi since I've been vegan and it did not disappoint! Tried the crunchy roll and spicy tuna. Also tried roti for an appetizer and enjoyed it! Would highly recommend :)

Those are my favorite items on the menu. I’ve been a million times. Service is lightning fast. I’ve had the orange chicken and it’s good too. The miso soup that comes with bento boxes is delicious. They serve fresh coconuts. Best Thai tea. Cheesecake is GOOD. I want to try the steak roll and milk shake. If you go get the unagi nigiri and bbq pork. Hot wings and coconut shrimp are both BOMB too. I’ll go a million more times!!! Lol

I had to go to College Station but wanted to see what Houston had to offer. I found this place on the way from IAH and plan to come as often as I can. I had a handful of take out (I arrived close to their lunch break -3ish); but, they still took my order. This was next level taste and texture! For example, the rainbow roll utilizes carrots for a tempura crunch and eggplant for that unagi feel. Need to revisit!

I love this restaurant. The food is always flavorful and great texture. The bento boxes are a great deal and allows you to to try their sushi and salads. I also love they are available on third party delivery services.

Amazing sushi option, I recommend the crunchy roll. We had the spicy crispy beef and general tso’s chicken. Wish we were in town longer to try more!!! They also give out sesame seeds balls with the bill. Was so pleasantly surprised. Happy we tried this place!

We've had Chef Kenny's before in Vegas so we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Server was attentive and quick, food came out perfectly timed and everything was delicious!! We got the spicy roll, crunchy roll, sexy roll and rainbow roll and the cream cheese wontons. Everything was flavorful and amazing.

I love this place so much. From their eggplant sushi to their soy beef...that stuff blows my mind. The texture is eerily similar to meat, but the sauce distracts enough because it's just that good. Love their vegan crab rangoons YAAAAAS

Read moreWhile waiting, I watched 5 members from the kitchen staff eat their fresh & hot meal. Then I watched 2 members of the counter staff enjoy a meal. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting.
I ordered spicy, crispy eggplant and a pan fried (vegan) fish. We honestly couldn't distinguish between the two entrees. The meals were satisfactory, but the spring rolls were cold - they came out about 20 minutes before the meals.
As vegans, we want to support vegan restaurants and help them exist beyond COVID.
SORRY, but we won't return to Chef Kenny's. HECK, I should have joined the workers and eaten with them... SMH

I love Chef Kenneys! There is so much food to choose from. Any of the rolls are a good choice. A non-vegan had the Kung Pao Beef and said it was amazing! All the food is extremely flavorful and well presented.

I have eaten at Chef Kenny's restaurants in Las Vegas. The menu here was identical to his menu in one of his Vegas restaurants. His food is always excellent. I ordered a vegan beef with vegetables dish and a vegan sushi roll. Both were as good as it gets.

All the flavors are there...the shrimp taste is so-so but the medium rare steak roll is definitely the ultimate best. Worth the price ($12) & you'll return for seconds. The hostess is very helpful as well.

Wow! Stopped by for the first time after long following them on Instagram. Ordered some food for the family to pick-up for take-out and everything was phenomenal!!! The vegan spicy tuna roll was out of this world!
