I have previously eaten here a few times and always had a positive experience until recently. They offer GF bases and used to have vegan pizza options. Unfortunately the last 2 times we have attempted to visit, they have not had vegan cheese? And it doesn’t appear to be something that they are keen to rectify. Shame when they are one of very few establishments in Aviemore that did offer vegan pizza options.

Nice pizza, great views - Edit
We very much enjoyed our visit to Cheese & Tomatin. They serve great pizza - the kind you'd get in a cool, hipster, artisan place in Shoreditch or some other trendy part of London - including two tasty vegan choices. Not bad for the Highlands! If the weather is good, grab a seat on the terrace and enjoy the views of the Cairngorms!

Restaurant has a nice view over the mountains. They have 2 vegan pizzas listed on the menu, one with tomato and olive, and one with mushrooms. Vegan mozzarella was tasty. The pizza itself was mediocre. It was bland, no oil or herbs. Very little toppings. The pizza was undercooked, more Italian style, which is not my thing.

I always love coming to this place when I’m in Aviemore; it has a really pretty view of the Cairngorms, and they have a few vegan options for breakfast and lunch. The pizza is always a safe bet (I’ve tried the Mediterranean Medley and the Mushroom Surprise, they’re both pretty good!), plus I really love the vegan mozzarella they use. The interior is really cute & cozy, and in the winter they have a fireplace going which amplifies this even more. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

The menu and the daily offers contain some vegan options, however you can ask some of the things with vegan cheese or in vegan version (if possible).

Always great to see vegan cheese available at a pizzeria. I personally didn’t love the taste of the vegan cheese but it melted very well and looked more like mozzarella than most others I’ve seen. The pizza base and sauce was excellent! Friendly staff. Popular place.

Pizzas here are excellent with sour dough bases, we really recommend the big leaf salads with a veggie pizza made vegan with vegan cheese. Best vegan pizza we have had!

The pizza comes with Left Coast Cheese which is amazing but the pizza itself was a let down. It was soggy and undercooked in various parts.

Cute and cosy resturant. Serves meat aswell. Vegan isn't labelled on the menu for the Pizzas however just ask, the staff have vegan cheese and can make any vegetarian pizza into a vegan one. The staff were very friendly and super attentive to my needs.
