This place was cozy. It had a quaint little dance floor with an outdoor stage. Fun place to grab a drink and hang out with friends. Love the vegan yeti and the banana hammock. 🍌 There are 2 amazing vegan food trucks steps away from the entrance!

Best little corner in Austin - Edit
I came to Austin for a weekend work training and ended up at here 2 out of 3 nights, only because I didn’t discover it until my 2nd night in town. We stayed at the Holiday Inn and it was about a 20-min walk from our hotel, but I would have gone further to come. It’s so great to have a bar with fun live music, a great atmosphere, all-vegan unique cocktails and 2 vegan food trucks outside. What an experience!! I want to move to Austin if it’s full of awesome places like Cheer Up Charlies.

There is a vegan White Russian (the vegan yeti) and a Kale Ginger Margarita with mixers made in house. If you are a vegan looking for a bar this place is great. The first night we went we stumbled across a Talent show that was so much fun. Great drinks, food trucks out front with some of the best vegan food I have ever had and entertainment made for one of the most fun nights out I have ever had.

I went there thinking it was a restaurant but it's really a club. They are open late and have music and dance area with a bar. There a couple of trailers next door that serve food but neither are vegan. They do have a couple of vegan options though

Very pleasant and relaxed location that' feels like a friends backyard. If Berlin would have had a "Cheer Up Charlie" perhaps unification would have happened sooner! The very kind owners are thinking of opening another locaton. On your next viist for delightful tofu chicken salad, coconut elixers and goji goodies please do mention that you think the check point at E. Riverside and I-35 could use some cheering up as well! Cheeerio.

Definitely more of a to go place, especially in the summer. Had a great vegan chicken salad sandwich and a refreshing beverage. The food is simple, but good, and very resonably priced. The service was great as well. I would definitely recommend.
