Wonderful food. Food was ready quickly. Vegan items are clearly marked on menu. They offer baked goods and also cookbooks and spices and soaps too. Nice place!

A dining gem in Raleigh! - Edit
My omni boyfriend and I are road-tripping north from Florida and had a stopover last night in Raleigh, NC, a place I’d never been. We arrived hungry and needed to find a good eatery for us both. Cheeni definitely met and exceeded our expectations! It was bright, clean and welcoming, with a small but substantial menu. The staff were all lovely, pleasant and knowledgeable, and the food…!!! So good. Do mention that you’re vegan and they will accommodate joyfully. I had the South Indian Vegetable Korma and it was wonderful. Boyfriend has the Lamb Vindaloo and really enjoyed it. We definitely plan on stopping again on our way home. If you enjoy Indian food or are interested in trying it, Cheeni is your place in Raleigh!
