What a find!

I found this via TikTok and it didn’t disappoint. Pho was 30k and was possibly the best I’ve had in the whole of Vietnam. A must visit spot in Hanoi for a local experience full of flavour.

INSANE

I love this place, so clean and fresh! We went and got a banh mi for 30. Also in a beautiful area- can’t wait to try more of their menu !

2nd visit to try most of their food

So satisfying!
Last time we had Phở, Bún chả and mushroom floss.
This time mushroom floss again, bánh cuốn (steamed rice cake sheets with veg meat and sauce), grilled veg sausages, Bún riêu, Bún chả, passion fruit juice and of course delis cashew milk and yogurt

Cozy atmosphere

This is what Hanoi street food really about. Tasty food. Price is not too crazy. Staffs are nice(we're local).

authentic street food experience

This place was located right next to our hotel, so we gave it a try. As others have already said, it's a bit chaotic here, especially when there are a lot of guests. Nevertheless, the staff is very dedicated and friendly. However, hardly anyone speaks English here. We had the hot pot and it was a really good meal!

Very tasty but somewhat chaotic and with self-service

We tried Lẩu chay with two people for 160k. The food was super yummy, however, compared to Phở chay (35k) and similar offerings at other places, we found the price to be a little too high.

The atmosphere is super cosy. We only didn't like that we were not informed about the self-service. In the end, someone told us to clean our table ourselves, as if we were supposed to know. A simple sign on the table or clear instructions at the beginning would have been a better option. I have no problem cleaning the table, but this should be communicated, especially in Vietnam where self-servicing is rather uncommon.

Nevertheless, it's a great place and great food!

Pros: Yummy food, Great atmosphere, Overall fair prices

Cons: Chaotic, Unclear communication, Some items relatively high priced

Chaotic and tasty

Chay via hè is a mix between a restaurant and street food. You choose your dish, pho, hotpot or spring rolls, and you get it put together right in front of you. It is quite chaotic and very popular with a mix of locals and tourists.

We sat on the tiniest chairs we'd ever seen, and that's saying something after two weeks in Vietnam. The pho was hot and tasty with a blend of several mock meats.

I'd say go for the experience alone, but the food is also very good.

Exceptional

Most delicious veggie pho around (vegan meats and tofu), and fantastic rice paper rolls. Cannot recommend enough!
Somewhat self-serve, so cheap, and the family who run the restaurant are unbelievably sweet.

11/10 we will definitely be coming back
