Great little family / community spot in Selby. They have a separate vegan part of their menu and also cater to gluten free needs. Prices are affordable and they make an effort to be a community space with a book swap and suspended coffee scheme. We will be going again
Came here for breakfast based on a Happy Cow search after doing Selby parkrun. Easy to find in the middle of Selby. They have a separate vegan menu with toastie and soup, wrap, curry and chilli. No vegan breakfast menu yet but they happily made me an excellently cooked plate of hash browns, beans, mushrooms, toast and tomatoes. Plant milk available. Great mug of tea. Just what I wanted. The guy serving was really nice too.
They are providing a welcoming and friendly place for everyone. You can buy a suspended coffee for someone in need and there were donated food items available too.
FINALLY somewhere in Selby you can eat Vegan! I'd give it 5 stars if I could. - Edit
Great little cafe in the middle of town. Serves a wide array of food. Includes meat and dairy but also has a large vegan menu which includes (most exciting for me) vegan cheese toasties.
We've only visited once so far and had the toasties. Very tasty. Will be going back soon.
This is a very popular place and speaking to the owner has been getting great feedback on their vegan selection (this is huge news for this town in particular where there are NO other vegan options available). This is also a community support project and participates in the suspended coffee scheme.
Well worth a visit and your support. The owner and other staff are lovely and are also open to ideas for future menu suggestions. I have a feeling this is going to end up being a little vegan oasis in an otherwise meat heavy town. Excellent.
