Not great if you are vegan - Edit
We asked multiple times if the starter and main we ordered contained any dairy product or egg. The staff told us that this was not the case, but they also didn't seem to really understand our question. The dish unfortunately did contain dairy. It was as a side so we were able to "eat around it" but obviously not great if you are vegan. The main garlic "prawn" dish was kinda cool. The mock prawn was made of soy protein and had a texture and bite much alike a prawn. The doosas however were not that great. I would go and find another place if you are vegan since they do not seem to understand the concept.

Cons: Not vegan (also not when asking for it), Staff doesn't seem to care

Pure Veg - Edit
A pure vegetarian place in Brickfield. Food was not great. First time I had food from there. Will not return. (However I’ve been told it was much better before Covid.)

Good place for a full feeding! - Edit
Surprisingly enough, this was the only veggie restaurant on the main street but still, that's probably because these guys know what they're doing. The place was absolutely packed full of people but we were served quickly and the servers were funny, kind and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty and the banana leaf had a lot of components on it. Drinks were also good. Downside is how hot the place was with all those customers. They have fans all around the restaurant but had only turned on maybe two or three of them. Wish we could have stayed longer to try some of the puddings on the dessert counter but we would have melted.
Read morePros: Great menu selection. Lots to choose from., Solid banana leaf offering., Very attentive and friendly servers.
Cons: Gets really busy., Did not turn on all of the fans. It was hot.

Very good food! There are so many choices (see pictures) and they are all very cheap! One of the best restaurant in little India...and my favorite! Also the cheapest! A must try.

best indian vegetarian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur - Edit
Very good quality of the service, dishes are very cheap and the taste is amazing. We tried unlimited food but the first plate was big enough. So they are generous.

Good Value - Edit
Unlimited thali for RM 7.40 is by far the best value veg meal in Brickfields. Great onion utthapam, if a tad on the entree-size side; and delicious whole grain idli. Not the best sambhar or chutneys I've ever had, and the food isn't terribly spicy; but overall, good value South Indian food in Brickfields.
Read more**NOTE** most waitstaff don't really understand the concept of veganism; we were assured that the dessert contained no dairy, when it clearly did.
Pros: amazing value banana leaf thali, yummy (if small) utthapam , whole grain idli available
Cons: waitstaff do not know what dairy products are, very average sambhar and chutney, charges applied to water

Quick and good lunch - Edit
We had mock chicken, once Masala and once Butter chicken, both very good. The small portion (8rm) was enough for us for lunch. Very nice as well the hot ginger-lemon lemonade. Restaurant was not full but it was public holiday

Nice food - Edit
The food is really good and the place is neat. You can have typical south indian food here. They also serve a wide variety of mock meat, such as mutton, chicken and fish.

In "Little India" area. Really busy place.
Read moreLots of food at lunch buffet. Not exactly gourmet, but if you are hungry, this is the place. Big variety of rice, curry, veg, fake meats, even some deserts.
Pros: Lots of food, fun busy place
Cons: Not exactly peaceful
