No vegan options - Edit
I asked (in Japanese) if they could serve me some vegan food, but the answer was 'no'. They use animal broth for all their dishes.

Good find! - Edit
‘Watashi wa begatarian’ is SUCH an important phrase when travelling around Japan and ordering food! That’s just in general, not just when ordering at this restaurant. As soon as you’ve sat down they’ll give you a warm hand towel and a bowl of rice crackers, it’s such a nice touch. I ordered the pumpkin with coconut which was nice but the vegetables were a bit...dry. In future I would’ve gone for something noodle-y or maybe a rice dish. The soft drink before the meal was so lovely though, I could’ve ordered a second! The staff are so friendly and will definitely help you out with whatever you need!

Its an option - Edit
The coconut curry was a bit odd tasting. But there aren't many options to eat out in Nagano. Please add places as you find them!
