So Salty - Edit
Now goes by the name of Ngon. We wanted something light and saw it had several veg options.
Read moreWe ordered the Friday lunch special which was a tofu stir fry, salty and soy sauce heavy without much dimension, and the rice noodle soup which was the same soup that came with the lunch special. The broth for both was unfortunately very salty and tasted like MSG.
We would not recommend this place and wish we had decided to skip lunch instead.

New owner, vegan offerings unclear - Edit
They had far the best selection you get in Appenzell, but the restaurant has changed owners so it's unclear whether you still get something. Have a plan B if you want to eat here.
