Better than Thailand - Edit
The food here is excellent! I came on a date here and had the green curry and some vegan noodles. Everything was cooked and spiced very well, spicy and yummy. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgable. So good!! Will return whenever I can 🙂

Chang Ba Haifa - Edit
The place is nice, we tried the vegan dishes. Unfortunately there is not too much choice of dishes and most of the existing ones are on a spicy basis.
Read moreWe took the green papaya salad which we asked to refine (it was nice but the papaya was too stiff and not completely chewy) We also took the asparagus and broccoli salad which was excellent and the yellow curry which was very tasty yet spicy and here the spiciness lvl could not be refined.
out of 4 options of curry, 3 of them are spicy with no capacity of change which really lowers the options for those who don't eat spicy food.
The biggest fall was from the sticky rice, it was cold, lumpy and dry and not uniformly cooked. I would also point out that the service was out of focus and inaccessible to tables inside.
Several times the waitress passed us and went straight to the outside tables.
Pros: for those who crave Thai food
Cons: almost all dishes are spicy

Good Thai-Food in Haifa - Edit
The place seems to be very popular in residents. Fancy Thai-Food with good vegan options. You can also drink good cocktails, although a bit pricey. Also very friendly staff.

Good Thai Food Accommodating for Vegans - Edit
I visited Chang Ba with a non-vegan friend who lives in Haifa and absolutely loves this restaurant. Most of the main dishes are presented on the menu with a choice of meat or tofu. I enjoyed the pad puk that I ordered, a stir fry vegetables and tofu dish with a side of rice. I also tasted the pad thai (ordered without egg) and thought it was pretty good. The waitress was very accommodating for vegans asked each person at the table who ordered a vegetarian dish if it was ok with egg. As a precaution, make sure to specify that you want no eggs or fish sauce (even though many of the main dishes don't have either in it).
