We had high hopes of a decent lunch here after reading the previous reviews.
Read moreFirstly, it is a nice location overlooking the foreshore and has an outdoor covered terrace area. There is one vegan item on the menu - Kale & Tofu Salad. There are also two vegetarian items that can be made vegan - Mexican Tortilla Bowl, and Tomato Bruschetta.
The Mexican Tortilla Bowl was okay, a fair amount of tofu and beans but without the vegan sour cream (cashew cream would be nice), or even some vegan grated cheese, it seemed like it was lacking something.
The Tomato Bruschetta was underwhelming, one slice of almost burnt toast which was on the thin side, with some oily veg on top. Not worth $24!
No vegan desserts or cakes at all, gluten free yes, but not vegan.

Wonderful breakfast - Edit
The gentleman, (Damon), who owns it is very accommodating and tries to help where he can with dietary requirements. A lovely place with a great atmosphere and excellent coffee. The wait team are always helpful and the chefs are well qualified to handle any changes professionally. A must do when in Rockingham.
