Don't Miss the Mozza Sticks! - Edit
We were so happy to find Champs on our vacation. They have such a classic diner menu that is so difficult to find for vegans, and they do it well.
Read moreThe shakes we had were amazingly delicious, and the mozza sticks! The mozza sticks! Never had anything vegan like these. Seriously if you're going to Champs, this is a MUST!
The biscuits are also really good. Found the scramble was a little bland, and I wasn't a huge fan of the burger patty. My partner really loved the faux chicken though, which looked amazing.
Pros: Mozza Sticks , Shakes and other diner foods, Great atmosphere
Cons: Some entrees seem hit or miss

I tried the mozzarella sticks, spinach and artichoke dip, and the burger. All were excellent. The mozzarella in the sticks was incredible. Melty and delicious. I felt gross and full afterwards which is what I want from diner food.

Great food - Edit
I love champs. They have an extensive menu and everything I tried from the cuban sandwich to the pancakes to the mozzarella sticks has been great. The only negative is that it's packed at lunch on the weekends and the wait for a table can be very long like 45 min. They don't take reservations in advance so I came a few times and left because of the wait, even for a party of 2. The wait is really discouraging so it would be great if they allowed reservations but Loving Hut is close walking distance so I've gone there instead when the wait was too long.

Incredible place, the vegan dream. Highlight for "Seitan Asada" appetizer "Mac n 'cheese" with extra bacon and the delicious milkshake of "Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip". Liked it so much we went twice. Excellent service and wonderful food. They sell reusable metal straw for $ 3. There is no wifi.

Worth the Trip - Edit
I think we may have spent more on Uber to get here than we did on breakfast, but it was so worth it! Totally awesome vegan breakfast. I got the French toast slam and an almondmilk latte. My daughter got the hungover hippie and a s'mores milkshake. Everything was amazing! If you're anywhere near Brooklyn, you definitely want to come here!

Delicious Diner Grub - Edit
When's the last time you headed to a diner, got a burger and fries, mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, and a sundae to top it all off? Now, even for us vegans, there's a perfect place to do all of that. Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, mozzarella sticks were embarrassingly good, and the sundaes there taste like heaven. All vegans must go here!

Unmistakeable diner food, even non vegans love this spot. My only issue is that I get so excited I end up ordering way more than I can actually eat.

We love this place! The Philly cheese sandwich is amazing, my non-vegan friend couldn't believe it was vegan cheese. It's a "you MUST go". They don't take reservations and it's usually crowded but it's worth it to wait.

Amazing Vegan comfort food - Edit
I cannot rave about this place enough. First time coming here was like a dream come true. Finding vegan comfort food was heaven. I ordered the Cubano and it just melted in my mouth; from the creamy cheese to the meaty junks of seitan, it was like a party in my mouth. My friend ordered the Mondo Burger which was piled high with patties, cheese and onion rings. The mozzarella sticks won my heart over. Cheesy gooyeness and just what you'd expect from "regular" mozzarella sticks minus the cruelty.

Uh-MAZING!!! Love it! - Edit
I love the fact that there is a little punk twist on the classic diner theme... even the bathroom is a nod to punk venues The staff was so friendly and quick. We didn’t have to wait for a seat and went in on a Friday night at 6:30pm. My mom who’s not a vegan but, eats mostly vegetarian, loved it. The mozzarella sticks were sooooo good... even the sauce. The Tatachos were INSANELY good. We also had a the french toast with berries and banana. Tasted amazing. Even the coffee was good!! I will definitely be going back. Update: have been back 3 times since and I live almost an hour away! Tried the drunken Cowgirl Breakfast bowl - love it with a biscuit and with Texas toast. Tried the chicken and waffle, the cinnamon pancake with frosting, the Sag breakfast sandwich and the hot dog from yeah dawg with tater tots and jalapeños!! I love all of it!! The breakfast sandwich is a must!! I got it on a biscuit and it was absolutely delectable. Still want to try more on the menu.... so I will be going back again!

MIND BLOWN - Edit
This is the best vegan meal that I've had before. Everything was so on point. I had the Nashville Chick'n Sandwich, and it was divine. We are in NYC for several more nights, and we will probably go eat here again before we leave. It's a game changer.

Good stuff - Edit
Third time here in two years. It was great again. I got the burger and fries. I loved how homemade my burger tasted. Beany and with some seitan I think. Great fries. It's funny how important good fries are after you've had a couple of bad rounds. I like mine golden yellow and not too crispy. The side of cole slaw is really small! I didn't mind at all but just so you know.

We had the Benedict breakfast and the one with scramble tofu and pancakes. And a banana milkshake.
For dinner we came back from Manhattan and had the 'wings', the burger, and the mac and cheese bowl. For desserts we had the pancakes that were perfect and the cookie dough ice cream bowl
All was very delicious and the portions were huge!

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday around 10 am and it was already packed and we had to wait a while to get seated, so better come early because it’s definitely worth it! We got the cinnamon roll pancakes, vegan slam, French toast and two shakes and it was all delicious!! Highly recommend this place to anyone in New York, it’s worth making the trip out to Williamsburg.

amazing!!!!! - Edit
The atmosphere is a great punk play on the classic diner theme. Loved the booths. The food was amazing! Truly gooey mozzarella sticks better than the real thing! Absolutely divine cookie dough infused pancakes! Then came the burgers that were so well done and the truly bottomless coffee was great (I may be writing this review with at least 4 cups circulating in my blood). They only downside would be the killer wait (1.5 hours for us) but at the same time the Bushkwick area has lots of

This place is awesome but... - Edit
This place is awesome. The concept is awesome the staff is pretty good not too friendly not too cold. The atmosphere is cheesy diner but I think that’s on purpose in an “ironic” way. The one thing that kills me is the price. $11 for 5 mozzarella sticks is insane! I get that there literally no place like champs and if u get a non vegan craving or want to show non vegans that you really don’t need meat eggs and dairy this place is the [censored] but since I don’t crave salty greasy foods like this place anymore it’s not for me. My husband on the other hand loves it here but still has commented on the price. Also the side salads are kinda gross that come with the sandwiches.
Read morePros: Lots of non vegan food veganized, O
Cons: Lots of salt and oil like I said it’s preference
