French toast for vegetarians, soup/muffin/drink for vegans

Can "make" a vegan set with muffin drink soup - the vegetarian mains revolve around french toast (egg).

Mixed fruit & veggies French toast was very nice. There's also berry berry and apple french toasts.

Soup portion with set meal was small but tasty - was tomato with various veggies.

Coffee quality seems good. Caramel latte was quite like butterscotch, and went down well.

Pros: Very tasty, decent price

Cons: No vegan main meal, but can make a set

Delicious coffee and afternoon tea!

Have soy milk for coffee & matcha! Staff spoke English quite well so I was able to communicate what I could and couldn't have ~ they were very accommodating! The seating is traditional Japanese (on the floor) with little tables! Heaps of charging outlets and wifi too, so an excellent spot to wind down after a long day of monkey spotting!

Refreshing Atmosphere + Vegan Snacks

During our recent winter trip to Yamanouchi, my husband and I frequented this cafe several days in a row. The staff were really friendly and interested in accommodating us as vegans. They were able to make us caramel and matcha soy lattes, soup, bread, and beautifully caramelized sweet potatoes and Nagano apples. Be very careful to specify if you don't eat things like honey, whipped cream or butter, as they might forget that those aren't vegan. If you remind them, however, they will be careful and check all ingredients for you.

Pros: Nice atmosphere and vibes, Friendly staff, Yummy hot drinks

Cons: You need to carefully specify dietary needs
