We had such a good time here. It's a great family atmosphere and staff are friendly and professional. The food is out of this world and packed with flavor and lots of veggies. The tofu is crispy and flavorful as opposed to just the pale damp chunks one finds sometimes.

I've never had a less than wonderful meal here. Most entrees can easily be made vegan by substituting tofu or extra vegetables. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Tofu Larb, a salad of large romaine leaves with fried tofu, red onions, tomatoes, cucumber and cilantro with a spicy lime vinaigrette is a highlight and refreshing start to the meal. Just MAKE RESERVATIONS or eat an early or late dinner. It's almost always busy, even a weeknight.

My family and I patronize Chalits a few times a week for take-out. We have been going to Chalit's almost since it first opened.
Read moreWe love Chalits, not only for the delicious, well-presented food but also for the friendly and helpful staff. All dishes can be made vegan or are already vegan. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are just right - not too big and not too small.
Some of our most favorite dishes include the papaya salad (order without shrimp), roasted cashews & chilis (add pineapple - extra charge), drunken noodle, yellow curry, fresh ginger & mushrooms, asparagus & black shiitake mushrooms, and mixed vegetables. There are many more delicious choices on the Chalit's menu.
We order our meals with fried tofu and brown rice (white rice is an alternative). You will have a spice level choice of the American Scale or the Thai Scale. We don't usually order dessert; when we do, we have been pleased.
Chalits recently moved to a larger space & is still BYOB. The larger space is an improvement on the previous location!
If you call for dinner take-out, call earlier. The restaurant gets busy early & you will have to wait longer to pick-up your food.
We take friends there and refer whenever we are asked for our favorite restaurant. Thanks for coming to our area, Chalit's!

Cons: Closed on Sundays, Add quinoa as a choice, too.

If Chalits closed we would consider moving. Always consistent, always fresh, always flavorful, never disappointed! The lemongrass soup makes my day brighter!
