Beste Pasta in ganz Thailand!

Pros: Super lecker, Günstig , Thai Food und Italienisches Essen

Delicious

A lot of good vegetarian pastas, this is a really good restaurant if you want some western (/Italian) food in Krabi after having many curries😄

Great Food, Good Selection

My first food stop in Krabi having just arrived. The owner is European and can speak great English. Understands veganism perfectly, and there is a lot of choice on the menu.

Lovely food

Most things can be made vegan, but the cook is a bit specific about what she is willing to convert to vegan or not… Nonetheless, the food was great, cheap, and the portions pretty large!

Great

The food is amazing and the portions are big. Half of the vegetarian options can be made vegan (for example, the cook can’t make the massaman curry or the pad Thai vegan🤷🏻‍♀️). I had a red curry and a panang curry and both were soooo good (yes, I had to come back)

Delicious food but limited options

When you first see the menu you may think that there are so many options, as all the main dishes include a "vegetarian" (aka the meat is tofu) option. However most of them include either butter/oyster sauce, so make sure to tell the cook (the female, not the waiter) that you are vegan. She knows the difference between vegan and vegetarian and has no problem in adapting the dishes.
So speak directly to her, as the male waiter will take note and say yes to anything, even if it includes animal products.

We ordered green curry and stir fried vegetables. At least the curry would include milk cream if you not specify directly that you are vegan.
Also ordered baked potatoes and find out that they are fried with butter, but the cook made new ones with oil just for us.

After the adventure while ordering the food , if was really nice. Tastes really good.
So if the first initial contact is not a problem for you, would recommend eating here. The taste is worth it

Pros: Cute ambient, The cook is so helpful

Cons: Not all options are directly vegan, A bit expensive

Delicious Thai food!

We had a good experience with the food here. Really good prices, tasty curries and generous-sized drinks! We ordered a vegan Thai Green Curry (100THB) with tofu and rice, a Pineapple Tofu Stir Fry with rice (100THB), a mango smoothie (60THB) and a pineapple juice (50THB). All of these were full of flavour, balanced, nourishing and filling!
We also had a baguette (30THB) to soak up the sauces but we left very full and didn’t need it haha.
Highly recommend this place. It has many vegetarian dishes on the menu which can be made vegan and is great if you are catering to different dietary requirements or preferences.

Pros: Many veg dishes you can make vegan, Wholesome Thai food , Good prices

Cons: Service could be friendlier, but not bad

Confusing and off-putting experience

When we first arrived the foreign English speaking owner greeted us and was rather abrasive when we asked about vegan food. He said everything on the menu that was 'vegetarian' was vegan.
Ok. We sit down and a server (very polite and friendly came to take our order). The chef was also standing a few feet away. When we ordered the standard Thai fare of pad Thai and a massaman curry the chef interrupted to ask if we were/wanted vegan or vegetarian.
When we said 'vegan' she almost angrily responded with: 'vegan and vegetarian are two different things'. (... We are very aware.) The owner who told us the previous statement about the menu was right there. It was uncomfortable and abrasive and we tried really hard to smile and laugh a little too break the tension.
When the food arrived we swear the chef said SHE was vegan but kept going on and on about how the food wouldn't taste the same or be as good because it didn't have meat in it. It was so off-putting I wanted to leave. We were so confused and felt uncomfortable the whole time. I just didn't understand the necessity to keep saying those statements especially if she is indeed vegan.
Furthermore, altho the food was hot and fresh it wasn't anything special in the taste department. The mango and pineapple shakes were great.
Not sure if I can recommend this place for vegans.

Pros: Understands vegan, Prices

Cons: Off-putting experience , Abrasive staff, Confusing vegan situation

Knowledgable staff, normally have tofu

The lady was able to tell us exactly what on the menu could be made vegan, and understood oyster sauce isn’t vegan (which seems to be a common misconception!). All curries can be made vegan, plus a couple of the salads. The stir fries can be vegan without oyster sauce but she said this affects the taste a lot. Normally they have tofu but they had run out unfortunately. We both got Penang curry as this could be bulked out with potato. It was pretty tasty, as was the watermelon juice!

Pros: Knowledgable staff

Cons: Limited options

Worst place to be!!!

Guys! I didnt recommend this place to anybody. Because the owners are completely non-adequate. Еxcept that they have a sign in their resto saying that "Stupid people are unacceptable", which indicates their extreme arrogance (on my opinion). When i ordered a salad the female-owner told me that this salad will be exactly same as in a menu - picter. But when they brought it, salad was sooo poor (like on the picter was 8 olives, they brought me half-olive (!) and same with tomato😄... and i asked to put more veg in salad or i will not willing to pay for this, she started to scream and called to police ...and it was a big scandal with a male-owner (who was super impolite!) and who want a penalty from us 100 time more (is it adequate???)!!! Like salad costed 120 bat, but he wanted 12 000 bat!!!... finally we paid (120 bat), but the taste from the event was SOOO BAD, that i cant recommend to anybody this worst place in Krabi...

Pros: It is not veg resto. They have just very little.

Cons: Expensive.

Delicious food & great service

We were lucky that we had stayed just round the corner from Chalita. Our evening meal (veggie spring rolls & vegan curries) was truly amazing and we did not have to wait more than 10min.
This place is not located by the main road so there was not so much traffic noise but the pier was 1 minute away.
Highly recommended.

Pros: Food, Great service
