Chez Teddy - A mountain gem - Edit
We had a wonderful stay in Lenk and Chez Teddy was perfect. The apartment is by far the most well-equipped airbnb/vegvisit place we have ever visited. High speed internet, a great speaker for those chilled-out mornings and après-ski evenings, toiletries (all vegan of course) and an unbelievably very well-stocked kitchen. Oils, spreads, pasta, rice, seasoning etc – all was there and beautifully labeled. Instructions on how to reach the property, how to use the appliances etc were all clearly explained and Amanda was always reachable for any additional questions.
Read moreOur children had a wonderful holiday. Snow sports, swimming at the outdoor heated pool, ice-skating and relaxing in the glorious afternoon sunshine on the outside hammock swings. We were so lucky with fabulous February sunshine. The weather was incredibly warm too – too warm in fact for this time of year in Switzerland, and a worrying sign of global warming but staying in a mountain chalet with vegan-values, books about environmentally-friendly living etc made us feel so comfortable. And enjoying the patio in Spring clothes whilst looking at the snow-covered mountains was magical!
With Amanda we organised 2 evening meals. We discussed the vegan meals we wanted, she organised the ingredients and wrote the recipes. They were new recipes for us and we loved them, fabulous to try new meals and a fun thing to do with the kids in the evenings after a busy day of sport. Unbeknown to us, Amanda also wrote a treasure hunt for our children to get to know the apartment which ended in them finding a sweet treat! What a lovely touch!
