Cheap and cheerful tasty broth but watch out for the egg! - Edit
I had the vegetable broth (€9.90) which was a generous bowl with plenty of noodles, vegetables (albeit mostly beansprouts) and some plain and fried tofu, with a couple of filled dumplings in there too. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it came with half a boiled egg on top! I’m not fussy about cross-contamination, so I was happy for the server just to remove the egg, but it is a thing to be aware of.
Read moreThe home-made Thai tea (€3.50) was also good – slightly sweet, with a strong flavour of tea.
My friend had the vegan glass noodle salad (€10.90) which was flavoursome and somewhat spicy.
It was pretty busy and lively on a warm Wednesday evening in September, but we got a table okay. You order at the counter but pay at the end. The prices are excellent, especially compared with the UK, but as the food was nice but not outstanding, you get what you pay for!
Pros: Flavoursome dishes, Generous portion sizes, Low prices
Cons: Egg in vegan broth, Too many beansprouts

for the price very good - Edit
The portion was totally enough, i liked how the place looked and really enjoyed the food, would definitely go there again. You have to order at the counter and put the dishes away yourself but that was fine by me. Would recommend this place😄

Okay - Edit

Few vegan options for a good price - Edit
The restaurant offers in each category one vegetarian and vegan option. I tried the Thai noodle soup and it was really good. They offer also a little recipe of how to eat the noodlesoup with little top ons on the table. Made the soup even better. Would recommend!

Comfort food - Edit
Fresh, fast and tasty curry and soup. Could have used a tad more tofu in the curry though. Other than that, perfect.

One of the best I've tried - Edit
Very tasty food and not spicy at all. Best gyoza of my life and one of the best Asians I've ever been to. Good price for what comes and big portions.

Cute location with really good sou - Edit
This is one of the best restaurants in Freiburg. The menu is small, four soups, three curries and two dishes with rice. There is a vegan / vegetarian option that comes with or without an egg.
Read moreYou order at the counter, find yourself a seat and wait for your food.
I can recommend number 4 vegan and the home made ice tea.
Pros: Super tasty soup , Reasonable prices
Cons: But unorganized , Quite packed around the 'normal eating times'

Sehr lecker - Edit

Nice noodle bar. - Edit
Several vegan options on the menu. The soup was great though needed a little more spice. Noodle salad was good but could have done with a bit more tofu. Very reasonably priced for the portion sizes and a nice atmosphere. Best to be very clear on vegetarian/vegan when ordering as my soup did come with a boiled egg in it by mistake.

If I could give 5***** I would! - Edit
If I could give 5***** I would! Absolutely incredible vegan soup with dumplings (I didn’t want to have the tofu, so I ordered without). My partner had the vegan curry with tofu and it was absolutely amazing as well. The soup really brought me back to Thailand, it tasted exactly like over there 🙏❤️ price was €7,50 per dish. Big serving, little price. The Thai ice tea was amazing too!!! Would highly recommend it!!!

Good for take away or quick lunch - Edit
Fair prices, big portions and good soups.
Read moreI prefer this place for a take away and it's also okay to sit inside but the outside bit is on a busy sidewalk and it feels a bit hectic there. Rather take the food and eat it around the University, thats really close and in a nice area. The food has a great quality and it's delicious. But if you want to have it more relaxed and cosy I'd recommend their other restaurant Chada Thai in Herdern which I think is the best one in Freiburg;)
