Delicious Indian style curry - Edit
Very hard to find!! Really hidden away.
Read moreThe vegan curry was so nice. Opted for vegetables option as I wasn’t sure if the fried foods were sharing the same oil as the meat - I assume they did but I didn’t ask as I like the vegetables anyway.
Tasted really good and authentic to an Indian style curry rather than Japanese one.

A vegan gem! - Edit
Japanese curry with a vegan cutlet, rice and numerous veggies hits the spot! Large portion, good spice level, friendly service and affordable. Chocolate tofu is like a dreamy truffle!

Spicy curry, convenient location - Edit
The food here was pretty tasty. I ordered my curry a bit too spicy unfortunately. Lots of veggies but they are fried so it was a bit heavier meal than I anticipated. Overall great service and quick. The chocolate dessert is really good!

Very good vegan Katsu curry - Edit
Love their vegan Katsu curry. The sauce is really balanced, with a good amount of heat. They also have vegan potato salad that goes great with curry meal.

The curry was really nice with tofu and veggies. The seating style is very Japanese. Cute place and nice curry! The vegan curry is clearly labeled on the menu and the workers were very kind.

tiny place, big taste - Edit
Had the spiced tonkatsu curry which was more earthy flavoured than your usual Japanese curry. The spice builds over time but it’s very manageable. Hidden in the back right of the station after exiting the subway line is this small restaurant. Only seats about 10 people. English menu provided, our meal was ready within about 5 minutes and the service was top notch.

Very quick and tasty food! - Edit
The restaurant is a little difficult to find as it is tiny and tucked away in the corner, but definitely worth it.
Read moreThey have an English menu with clearly labelled vegan (and halal) options, and the staff was able to confirm what was vegan. I ordered the cheapest option (a vegetable curry for 900 yen) and it arrived within 2 minutes! It was tasty and filling, though I personally would have liked a bit more spice.
I would definitely recommend Chabuya for a quick and healthy vegan option.

Tiny place, good atmosphere, great food. You can choose the spiciness level - I got middle spicy and it made me sweat a bit. They also have craft beer - tried the ipa and it was very good.

Really good vegan curry - Edit
This is not a vegan shop, but they have a few explicitly vegan items (and even an English menu). The real star is the vegan spice katsu curry, with the perfect level of spice, nice combo of fresh veg, good portion of rice, and excellent breaded soy meat katsu. It's a tiny place but it's not super popular, so you probably won't have to wait. The people running it are very friendly.

Great and unique vegan curry - Edit
A small pop-up in a mall with only one vegan curry option - but one of the best we had so far in Japan and really unique spices. Fair prices (around 1.500 yen including soy steak, around 1.000 yen w/o). Extremely friendly staff though bit limited English. But no problem at all, just say "vegan curry" and then you can choose from 2 pictures whether you want it with the steak (strongly recommended!!) or without.
Read moreThey also have so craft beer and local alcohol, but we did not try it as we were there for lunch.
Definetely worth a visit when you are around and can spare some minutes (very fast preparation).
Pros: Uniquely spiced curry, Fair prices
Cons: No english menu

Vegan japanese style curry - Edit
It was really tasty, especially the soy cutlet, but it was also quite oily cuz it was just heated up and not freshly made. Definitely an Option though! From what I saw on the menu they had 4 vegan options that day. Pretty neat!

Vegan options - Edit
They have 2 vegan options - one is only veggies and the other one has deep fried soy meat. Yummy but the curry is quite spicy for my own taste, which I can’t handle spicy food.
