Be Careful If You’re Vegan - Edit
Liked that things seemed to be clearly marked as vegan but I ordered aloo baigan marked as such that had giant chunks of paneer. When I told our server he brought it in back, fished out the paneer and brought it right back full of the cheesy grease which turned me off. The entree was overall incredibly oily. Not enjoyable. Methi paratha was good, samosas were decent, and gobi Manchurian was outstanding. Prices were fair and portions were good. I might go back but will ask a lot of questions first to ensure what I’m ordering is actually vegan since I wouldn’t trust what the menu says.

Delicious! - Edit
We have not explored Indian food very much so this was really one of our first times. As beginners, we asked the waiter what they recommended for two vegans. I wish i could remember the names, but whatever he chose for us was delicious! We had two starters, one potato based and the other mixed vegetables. And then we each had an item from the specials menu. The garlic naan was really good. We look forward to coming back and getting more familiar with the cuisine.

easy doing vegan dishes - Edit
Quite oily for a high carb vegan but the food tastes really good. Not a great place to carb up since each order of rice is pretty small. I would recommend ordering takeout and make your own rice if you want to carb up.

Great Indian Punjabi/North Indian vegetarian food. - Edit
My wife & I have been coming here for years. This is one of the best Indian restaurant in the San Francisco bay area. It has a variety of Indian cuisine including Punjabi, Gujarati & South Indian items - but not dosas. This is the place for Punjabi/North Indian vegetarian food. The service is always quick & fast. Thalis are a good item to order - you get a little bit of everything & the items in the thali change regularly. I like the sag paneer & my wife likes the bhindi masala, along with paratha & methi paratha. For a light refreshing cool & healthy drink, have the chaas. They often have Groupons & Google Offers. There can be a short line during peak dining times. They now take reservations as well through Open Table.

Promotion in the radio for their restaurant - Edit
They promoted but not trained their employees!!
Read moreFood may be good and not the attitude!!!
Especially never go there, if you ever win a promotion from virijallu 1170am radio show!!
So many hidden ajendas for a $5 win, how can you have $5 million conditions for a $5 dollar chaat, for gods sake, we are only human beings, give us some respect and don't harass the winner, there should be a respect.
If i had know it was only $5 as a limit, i would not even went to the restaurant, the promotion people cheated us. We spend a good $50 for 4 people, whenever we for a restaurant not expecting that much, but at least no strings attached.
I am doing this only for the next winner should not have the same the experience.
