Nice place, nice staff, nice vegan food - Edit
We had a lovely visit to the Ceabhar in September 2023. They have a few vegan dishes marked on the menu but the staff also let us know about other vegan options that were available. We shared the Vietnamese spring rolls to start – they were really tasty and came with a Hoisin dipping sauce, salad and bread. For mains we both opted for the homemade moussaka. That was delicious and came with a side portion of potatoes and veg – very filling. We still made room for dessert though and had rhubarb and ginger crumble which came with a choice of custard, ice cream or cream. They also had chocolate ice cream on the menu. It’s a nice wee place and the service was great – staff were really friendly and helpful. They have beer from their brewery available and when we visited these were all vegan. Well worth a visit if you’re in Tiree but make sure to book in advance as they can get very busy!
