Very good little restaurant - Edit
We went to this restaurant during our holiday in Cagliari and we loved it. The food was delicious with loads of taste. We had a pasta dish and risotto and it was truly tasty. The space is welcoming and the staff super nice! I highly recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, we did not make a good experience there. The food is very Basic, but expensive. I had a very plain risotto, that was probably ca. 150 g, and was 14 Euro. My husband had a lasagna, that was dry, obviously just quickly microwaved and was also 14 Euro. The toilet was beyond dirty and water was everywhere on the toilet floor. We did not finish our food.

Questo bistrot è stato una splendida sorpresa! Il locale presenta tavoli sia all'esterno che all'interno (c'è l'aria condizionata) e un menù variegato per tutti i gusti. Il cibo è squisito, ma a fare la differenza è lo staff: tutti gentilissimi e simpatici, hanno reso l'esperienza ancora più gradevole.

We tried it out yesterday after having read so many good reviews and it did not disappoint. The friendly staff helped us decide what to order and got their homemade bread (😋) with hummus and olives and the Cauliflower salad as appetizers; the beyond burgers with fries as second and the cheesecake and the brownie for desserts. All of the dishes were great with the exception of the cauliflower salad which we found a little blend.

Delicious vegan restaurant and wonderful atmosphere have many tasty dishes from appetizer to first and main dashes with tasty dessert also they make cocktails the staff was so lovely and healthful I recommend this restaurant must try.

This is not a good restaurant, multiple times in less than an hour we had to give our food back. Hair mixed in my dish. They Microwave everything!! Not good. I don’t recommend.

Visited here after finding it on Happycow...Wanted a light lunch after being in a cruise for two weeks and having rich food so ordered October and Tropical salads...Very tasty food and could not resist the panacotta to share...offer a business lunch for 12 Euro which looked good as other customers were ordering it, as well as a rather substantial burger. Lovely people run Cavo Bistrot who speak good English if you don't speak Italian.

Nice location with very friendly personnel. The food (business meal) was delicious and fresh, especially the dessert “Panna Cotta” was yummy. The restaurant has a big bar and a lot of drinks. We tried some coffee - also tasty! We loved our visit in Cavo Bistrot.

While in Cagliari, we have seen that there are just 3 fully vegan places. We have tried the pizza place and then we were in a mood for something else, so we stopped by Cavo for lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly, happy to help and to explain the whole menu to us, dish by dish. The business lunch is great option if you want to try many different dishes/tastes at once for 12 euros including water.
Read moreWe decided to come back for dinner and that was just mindblowing. It looked like it was taken out from a gastronomic magazine and tasted like heaven. Definitely will be coming back, as we think it has been the best vegan food we've ever had. And don't be put away by the presentation, it's actually very filling and worth paying for a bit more.

This was one of the nicest restaurants I ever personally went to considering the food quality (and the fact it’s 100% plant based), location (the wonderful warm and beautiful city of Cagliari) and the customer service (the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and even offered to fill up my water bottle for free). Would 100% recommend to anyone who is visiting the city or just wants to try something different.

Vegan Heaven with fantastic service! - Edit
Me and my boyfriend went twice to Cavo Bistrot while staying in Cagliari as we were so happily surprised to find a 100% vegan restaurant so near us and in the center. The food was outstanding, I’d really recommend the Guacamole appetizer, the saffron Risotto and the Spaghetti with jalapeño. 🌱

This restaurant is a must visit if you are in Sardinia let alone Cagliari. We have the falafel, lentil pate, gnocchi and the melanzane. Which were all delicious. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and the lack of plastic straws was refreshing.
