Als je maar 1x gaat eten in Cagliari, laat het dan hier zijn. Heel lekkere pasta met verse ingrediënten. Helemaal wat je wil van den Italiaanse vakantie. Super vriendelijke bediening, je wordt echt goed verzorgd.

The restaurant had been temporarily closed, presumably for the season, for much of the time we were here. And then, today we saw it was open. I'm so glad. It was delicious and great place for enjoying a sunny Cagliari day. I had the gnocchi with tomato pesto, pistachios and house-made vegan ricotta. (The gnocchi were also house-made.) It was one of the best meals I have had period. My husband said his meal (polpette with rosemary toast) was better than he's had at our favorite vegan restaurant in Los Angeles.

Read moreI found the pricing a bit on the high end considering it is a café. We paid for two burgers (with fries) and 4 brownies to go, approximately 85 euros - But the portions are large.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, matching their delicious food and drink. Gluten free pasta is offered, alongside alternative GF bread, and a GF dessert! The mushroom nuggets are a MUST, as is their tiramisu if it’s on offer.

Read moreThe food was clearly made with local, wholesome ingredients. We had their bruschetta, the hummus platter, the cashew e Pepe and the Sardinian pasta. For drinks - the mirto and the limoncello spritzes, and the limoncello was made by the mum of one of the staff members! Very delicious drinks too, well blended, and we could taste all the components. Also huge portions for these.
Bruschetta - there was a lovely smokiness coming from the aubergine from the way they roasted it, something special that I haven’t had anywhere else.
Hummus platter - I thought there was too little hummus here, but it was tasty and fresh, and the thin Sardinian bread was crispy and ultra thin.
The pastas were absolutely our highlights!
Cashew e Pepe - well textured sauce, the cheese and pepper blend is done well, with a strong zing from the cheese and the spicyness and aroma of the black pepper. The pasta was cooked wonderfully al dente and it’s one I’d super happily go back for! One of the best cacio e pepe renditions I’ve ever had.
Sardinian pasta - the saffron sings through the pasta dough, and it’s what makes this dish exceptional. The sauce is also delicious, tomatoes are juicy and create an appetising sauce with the beyond sausage.
The staff was super friendly too! They showed us pictures of the whole menu, brought us warm bread and told us about the limoncello, and we had a fantastic time on the terrace relaxing and people watching.

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
I went here twice today because the staff is so friendly and the food is simply amazing! One of the best vegan food I ever tried. I had a cappuccino and the cashew cake (their hazelnut chocolate spread is heaven) and later for dinner I had the cashew creme spaghetti and the coffee mousse (with the heavenly hazelnut chocolate spread on top). I would definitely come again!

The place is well priced and the food is delicious and authentic. The homemade bread is also delicious, all the staff including the owner were very attentive and lovely. Would definitely recommend. They advised to book when going for an evening meal.

Everything of our experience was pleasant and curated in every detail.
A special positive note to the staff. They speak perfect English and they are extremely nice and professional.
Will definitely come back next time!
As for the price: it is absolutely in the average of all the other restaurants in that area and the quality is high. I understand it could not be accessible to anybody. Maybe there could be a “business lunch” menu to meet these requests.

Sono abituata ad andare in locali simili in Campania, in primis a Napoli. La cucina è buonissima (menzione speciale ai malloreddus e al pollo vegan alla cacciatora), ma i prezzi sono eccessivi e lo dico facendo un paragone con Napoli. Il rischio è quello di rendere un locale del genere un “lusso”, rendendo la cucina vegana non alla portata di tutti
