Amazing Food and Desserts - Edit
We love cats luck. Their sandwiches are amazing (highly recommend the hot chick’n sandwich and the deli sandwich). My husband loves the Chk’n Caesar Sandwich. And don’t skip the desserts. Everything in the bakery case is amazing!

Great food, great vibes - Edit
Have ordered lunch from here several times as well as catering for holidays and countless treats. Everything is always delicious and relatively affordable for the amount of food you get. Lengthy menu. Staff is always lovely. They do a great job of creating a safe space for all.

Really Good - Edit
Ordered the “Cool Cat” (just egg, pork roll, cheese, hashbrown, and breakfast sauce). Massive sandwich and really delicious. Never tried pork roll before (vegan or otherwise) but wanted to try while in Jersey. Really enjoyed and the sandwich was huge so I didn’t even eat the whole thing. Also loved the case of vegan desserts. Got the gf chocolate cake, miso chocolate chip cookie, and an oatmeal cream pie. My fiancé also got an americano with oat milk. Everything was flavorful, fairly priced, and delicious.

Stopped by Cats Luck Vegan for breakfast and had the Challah French Toast and Just Egg Scramble. My husband had the Breakfast Burrito, and my kids had the Pizza Bagel and Waffles. We also took home a cookie and chocolate dessert. Everything was excellent!! We’ll definitely be back again!

I am absolutely blown away by the delicious desserts we enjoyed. We had a chocolate iced donut with sprinkles, cosmic brownie, pb snickerdoodle cookies, miso chocolate chunk cookie (best cookie I have ever had btw, thanks to Alex for the recommendation), cookie truffle and a savory muffin with chipotle and vegan cheese YUM!!!

The Next Vegan Treats?! - Edit
Update from Spring 2024: There is now indoor seating for about 8 people. Also, we loved the gluten free waffle breakfast sandwich and the pastries!
Read moreOur family was so excited to visit Cats Luck Vegan for the first time last week. We got four bakery items: a brownie, at oatmeal cream pie, chocolate peanut butter truffle, and a gluten-free min-bundt cake. We could not agree on our favorite, but the only one that was slightly disappointing was the brownie. It was just a bit dry. The GF bundt cake was most surprising. It had a great, moist texture for being gluten-free.
We are looking forward to trying the savory food items at some point. There is no indoor seating, so we need a warmer day to eat outside since we are not local.

Great food, even better business - Edit
Originally from NY metro area, before today I hadn't had a traditional breakfast sandwich on a hard roll in over 10 years (in my pre-vegan days living in NYC). This took me back. Got a BEC - the tempeh bacon was a bit too salty for me. Not sure if it was the batch or just how they make it. The roll was fantastic. Non-vegan hubby could not stop talking about The Cool Cat (HEC hash brown). The pancake was nontraditional (thicker/denser, maybe something whole grain), which didn't do it for the 8 year old, but the baked goods made up for it. Coffee cake was light and fluffy with the perfect crumb.
Read moreSo many great things about the shop itself. They make it abundantly clear that being vegan isn't only about animal rights, but about doing the right thing for everyone and everything. There are posters, decorations, and affirmations to affirm all people including Black live matter, feminism, body positivity, and more. Mentions paying living wages, giving back to the community. Sustainability. They have an area with Udder Chaos Farm Sanctuary merch and donations, with payment going straight to the sanctuary via their Venmo. They also have a local coffee shop using some of the space. My 8 year old enjoyed trying out the beautiful typewriter in a cozy nook, which encouraged learning how to use it with a tutorial and paper.
No indoor seating, but picnic tables out front. You can call ahead or order there. Wish online ordering was an option, but I'm sure there are logistical and financial implications.
Definitely would come back just to support what they're doing regardless, but the great food seals the deal.
Pros: Outstanding business practices/values, Breakfast all day, Amazing baked goods
Cons: No online ordering

A vegan spot that stands for all the right things. - Edit
Not only do they offer some of my favorite food in the country here, but they as a company are loud and clear about where they stand politically as unapologetic leftists and punks.
Read moreIt’s so nice to walk into a place that has a set of rules that includes not discussing diet and body sizes, art with anti-racist and anti-cop messages, a bookshelf that includes free narcan and fentanyl test strips, a free clothing rack, a free community typewriter, loads of local art, and more—and they somehow do all of this in such a small space and while being as cute as possible about it!
I’ll always leave here with an unreasonable amount of food, because being lucky enough to go to it is worth a gluttonous celebration, and it helps that their prices are incredibly affordable and fair. Oh, and the baked goods are always very extensive and varied!

We got some wonderful baked goods here but were a little disappointed no pop tarts on a Sunday morning. Came with my non-vegan non-vegetarian father-in-law and they did not blink when he ordered “2 egg and cheese on a bagel” and just made the vegan version- appreciated that they were kind to an older non vegan person. He enjoyed the vegan sandwiches but didn’t love their bagels- he’s from Queens and is very picky 😊

an amazing fully vegan bakery. everything on their menu is delicious, but I especially love their crunch wraps. some of the bakery goods were hit or miss for me, but they do have great options. i love the overall vibe of the shop; the staff is always friendly, the decor is so fun, and they collaborate with local artists and makers for pop ups. they also do fundraisers for so many great causes, and i love how vocal they are about these issues. can't recommend this place enough💗

It was okay - Edit
I really liked the fries and Mac n cheese, ordered the chicken sandwich and biscuits n gravy as well. Chicken sandwich was hard to eat bc the “chicken” isn’t a flat patty but more like a ball shape and the biscuits n gravy was dry and dense. Mac n cheese has really good flavor and you can’t go wrong with fries! Also got some bakery items those were okay too.

I come here twice a week minimum
Read morebut more if I can. The food is amazing, the menu is giant, the specials are wacky in the absolute best way and they make me (a very picky eater) try insane combinations that I would never be comfortable trying anywhere else. The prices are unbeatable and are on par with non-vegan food in the area so there’s no premium for eating consciously. Aside from the food, the staff is so friendly and inviting and I love being in the building. I have bad food anxiety and I get super nervous ordering food and being a regular customer at food places but I am so grateful that cat’s luck exists bc it helps me eat steadily and the food slaps
Pros: Massive menu, Different specials every single day, So inexpensive
Cons: none

Tons & Tons of Options! - Edit
Tried for the first time and was very overwhelmed with my options, other than vegan treats in Bethlehem I haven’t really seen vegan bakeries with THIS many options, it was kind of a culture shock! lol
Read moreFirst thing that hit me (this is obviously very much subjective & I understand that) is when you first walk up to the door there is a sign saying you will be asked to wait outside for your food if not wearing a mask, and another that says “we’re wearing them, you should too.” I fully understand they are a private business and have every right to run their business the way they see fit, however knowing what we now know about the pandemic, mandates, and the actual science behind masking/VX really leaves a bad taste in my mouth when entering a business who still is knee deep in the delusion. I approached it with love and decided to support the business beyond my initial judgement. They have plenty of signs/stickers/art that clearly label their opinions on current world issues, I understand again that its their business and I’m sure they’re coming from a place of wanting to educate and spread love, but i just wanted to note all this in case this is a dealbreaker for you when deciding on what business to support/pass on. Whatever you decide please lead with love and respect their decision to run their business how they please.
THAT being said, the food was good! I ordered a lot because again there was so much to choose from so i went a little crazy ordered:
FOOD:
•Stoner Crunch
BAKERY:
•Cosmic Brownie-(Bakery)
•Earth Day Cookie
•Chocolate Chip Cookie
•(Forget the name, some poptart thing)
Total: $36.07
I wasn’t in love with any of the items but i believe you’ve gotta try a place twice before turning you back on it, it was all good and makes me want to try again.
Pros: Tons of Options, Affordable Options, Outdoor Benches
Cons: Masking Required, Very Opinionated Decor
