Located off of the slip road next to the UN Irish pub. Almost all dishes from the menu can be made vegan upon request. Confirmed closed, May 2019, Cat House remains open.

Dissapointing - Edit
I ordered a Laos sandwich with fresh veggies, crunchy pickled veggies, spicy sauce, and garlic mayo. I had to exchange the garlic mayo for some sesame sauce because they had no vegan version. The sauce was very salty and didn't taste of much else, let alone sesame. The sandwich itself contained a very tiny amount of shredded fresh cabbage and a s somewhat larger amount of very oily wokked peppers and onions. No spicy sauce to be seen. All in all the sandwich tasted of nothing but oil and salt and was not at all the fresh, crunchy, and spicy experience I had imagined.

good vegan selection! - Edit
My burrito was so delicious, definitely a different take on a burrito with the lentil curry on top but so so tasty. They can do many things vegan here and knew exactly what I meant when I ordered my food vegan. They also have some nice items for sale on their counter, good coffee and WiFi. Even though it’s not 100% vegan it’s worth checking out!

Please note The Cat House is open all day AND evening
Read moreThe Cat Shack closes at 5pm. This is a good place for food in the evening. The Cat House was right next door to the Chedi Home hotel where I was staying and where there were no vegan breakfast options except fruit and toast. Good range of options on (fusion) menu. Homemade kombucha in various flavours. Lovely falafel and houmous..Various wraps. Am working my way through menu. 100 baht a dish.
Pros: Many veggie options and dishes can be made vegan.

lots of vego and vegan options - Edit
I called into Cat Shack Cafe for lunch today ... the menu was the same as the sister cafe Cat House ... I had the hummas falafel with a hot ginger and lemongrass tea ... the quality and quanity of the food was very good and it was served quickly to my table ... the falafels resembled brown golf balls (after squashing them they were delicious) ... the pita bread and the hummas were both fresh and tasty ... staff were polite but very reserved

Great Little Place - Edit
Great little place near the UN Irish pub attached to Mountain Coffee. It's a bit small but there's enough seats with the coffee place next door. They have some cool breakfasts such as black rice porridge and healthy lunch and dinner options including burritos. Loads of dairy free drinks and other interesting options.
