Worse experience of conscious people ! - Edit
First outside when you come from town it’s written Vacancy. Second of all, the leader receive us like we were invading and abusing of her property.
tell us to go instantly when it was an open portal, a vacancy sign, her board in many places to do the promotion of her waterfall all over the town.
I am teaching yoga and love sharing what they do too! but HOW, how can you beso cold, rude and even pushes out when we ask only one question about discovering your cooking?!?
There is drama in life, enough, but what you are sharing is again, a sens of community that has no alignment in there actions. And you even made a Namaste when making us feel stupid to come and discover your place.
I was even considering taking a class when I saw this place on internet.
Girl, you ain’t a good représentions of love and compassion for sure!
Sad and I am ashamed we do the same job!

WVs is a private retreat property you need to have a reservation/ call ahead. The gate is closed for privacy of guests. Also the sign at the gate has been NO vacancy since Covid and not changed for 3 years.
Read moreSome people open the gate and just drive in - that is so not cool …
If you want to eat here you have to have a reservation and be staying here. No walk-ins are allowed for the security of our guests - we make no exceptions - sorry you were offended - we don’t do cooking classes to non - guests either. Our guests rule here😄 love, light and rainbows, Fateh

We had the best week! - Edit
I cannot speak highly enough of Fateh and Gustavo! They were so welcoming and helpful. Kenner made us delicious vegan food for every meal. The meals were so fresh and made with great care. We were impressed by the eco-friendly approach of the whole place. The picturesque tranquil setting provides a comforting home base, and the nearby adventures do not disappoint! Take the time to visit Manuel Antonio and Nauyaca Waterfall national parks!

Awesome - Edit
Went here with my ma and Sister for a lady-family vacation. It was wonderful and the food was so good. My non-veggie Sister and part-veggie mom loved it also. The rooms were beautiful, the grounds were spectacular, and it wasn't far from some touristy attractions.

Cons: Not touristy if that is what you are looking for.

Vegan paradise - Edit
I booked the 7 night Vegan Adventure package (June 16 -23, 2019) since all 3 meals every day were included! There isn't a menu, the meals were predetermined each day. That is not a complaint.... I was 100% okay with this. I was asked prior to my arrival if I had any likes, dislikes or allergies. I thought each dish was creative, beautifully presented and very flavorful. And, I felt the portions were very nice. Other guests were juicing and were always jealous of my meals. 😄 Each meal included a freshly squeezed juice and each dinner included a starter and a dessert. I loved the room, property and the waterfall. Be sure to treat yourself to a massage by the waterfall and do some yoga!! I LOVED everything about this solo trip.

Stress-Free Vegan Adventure - Edit
First off, the food was excellent! Our package, the South Pacific Adventure, included breakfast and dinner. At both meals, they incorporated lots of local exotic fresh fruits and vegetables to make clean guilt-free meals that were very satisfying. Our room, the Honeymoon Suite, was beautiful and very clean with efficient air conditioning. The daily adventures we went on (Nauyaca Waterfalls, Corcovado National Park, Zip Lining, and Manuel Antonio National Park) were well-organized on our behalf; we were pleased to have a local's touch in arranging the transportation and guides. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and pleasant. It was possible to do a little hiking around the hotel property, to see their local waterfall and a bamboo overlook. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers!

Honeymoon heaven - Edit
My new husband and I loved this place! It is quiet, surrounded by thick greenery and a creek (? runoff from waterfall? - not sure what to call it). Chris, the manager, was an amazing resource for helping us get taxis (which we needed to get anywhere since we didn't rent a car), and whatever else we wanted. He was fast, funny, and accommodating. The meals we had were delicious and healthy - we loved the fresh juices too. And considering that it is right in the middle of a tropical rainforest, I was pleasantly surprised about the mosquito/other annoying bug level - I was safe as long as I used a bug repelling sunscreen. The room was clean and bright, and the air conditioner felt like magic after a long day in the sun.

Cons: $200 each way (3 hrs) from San Jose to Villas, Taxi to Dominical is 5000 to 7000 c each way , Beaches not in walking distance

Stunning facility - Edit
Museum quality creation, with inspirational design of all facilities. The incredible fine dining was a notable feature. Limited services [no internet, no cell phone service, no room telephones] for those who wish to keep in touch with home or work. Cold showers a few times when hot water was depleted...could be endemic to rain forest life. No pool or hot tub, but you can sit in the waterfalls, which more than compensates! Would be ideal for a romantic getaway. Stayed December 2009, traveled with family

Vegan Honeymoon in Paradise - Edit
My husband and I had an amazing stay in Costa Rica, and Waterfall Villas was the highlight of the trip. We ate all our meals there--- and they were AMAZING! Whether you are vegan or not -- the food is spectacular. We asked ahead of time if they would use as much local fruits and veggies that were not available in the states as possible -- the very well trained chef met that challenge beautifully. Our room was beautiful and included a hot tub on our private porch. We did a package that included a waterfall blessing ceremony, massage, romantic lunch by the waterfalls, and a trip to the national park. Everything was arranged for us and was top notch. Thanks for a honeymoon we will never forget.

Vegetarian eco-resort - Edit
You have to be a guest at the waterfall villas to dine there, but given that the gourmet vegetarian/vegan/raw food is so delicious and exquisitely presented, and served in the gorgeous surroundings of a private rainforest reserve, the resort is a destination in itself for vegetarians/vegans and raw foodists. My husband and I got married at the resort and ate several of the meals - there is no menu but no disappointments either as everything tastes wonderful, including their fresh juices. The eco-resort is a yoga retreat and spa too. They have packages which include all meals. Highly recommended!
