They said they had no vegan food and just waited for me to leave - Edit
Very disappointed. I went there following the Happy cow recommendations, given that there are very few vegetarian, let alone vegan options in Cuernavaca. The young waitress probably started working there not too long ago, and wasn’t informed about what was vegan food. She told me they had a vegetarian dish but I explained what vegan food was and that the dish was vegetarian, not vegan. She asked an older waiter who just shook his head when she asked him about what vegan food they had. All that was left was for me to go since they didn’t even try to take a look at their menu (with supposedly vegan options given that the restaurant is recommended on Happy Cow?) or find something for me. I’m very surprised this restaurant is being recommended on Happy Cow given that two waiters basically told me they had no vegan, one of them in a very rude way. It’s the first time in 6 years of being vegan that this happens to me with a restaurant recommended on Happy Cow.

Hello hello! Vegan greetings and hugs! If you are still in Cuernavaca next door to Casa Tikal opened a new restaurant TepozRamen (Japanese) - in case you like Asian food they have some nice vegan options! Talk to the chef! They make things fresh and can use vegan ingredients for several dishes instead of the usual! We had vegan ramen, a rice noodle dish, dumplings and Onigiri (Rice triangles) - was all delicious - just a bit pricey! Best wishes!

Great service and cozy restaurant - Edit
The restaurant looks plain from the outside, but very cozy and green from the inside. On the menu is one vegan menu, but we've had a very nice waiter, who was happy to help us by choosing the menu. They serve excellent cucumber/lime water!

Atmospheric place - Edit
The restaurant with interesting design, different in different rooms. There are options in the menu, marked as vegetarian, and if you ask, they can cook them vegan. Check all menu, because some dishes don't have vegan mark, but still have no milk/eggs. The staff is very friendly.
