Nachos with guac to start which were great but unfortunately a few disappointing points.
Read moreThere was 2 vegan tacos, but when they arrived 1 of them had cheese on it ? I asked if it was vegan cheese the woman said no… and nothing else was said. But the menu clearly had a vegan symbol ? I assume you had to ask without cheese but I said vegan, I guess a mix up of language. So couldn’t eat it.
Also, they put my partners beef taco with my vegan taco in a bowl, pressed all together which isn’t really appealing to me..
The vegan soya taco was meh.
Website said shuts at 10, we arrived at 8:20 to be told we only had 10 mins to order and out by 9, the server was nice enough but little annoying we couldn’t stay longer.
Very small inside but could be cosy.

Tacos decent staff were a bit off - Edit
We had the vegan and veggie tacos/quesadillas and the 'patatas bravas' the tacos and quesadillas were decent but the bravas' did not bravas the sauce was fine but there wasn't much and it didn't have the creamy aioli side to it. The staff member was very blunt and borderline rude to us and others. I mistyped my pin (while I tried to cover him from watching) and he said 'ha do you not even know your own pin' not laughing or anything just bluntly, then when I re did he was like 'thank god you can actually pay'. Also when we asked for some salt his first question was 'what do you want something?'

Vegan options are mostly correctly labeled as such, though there appeared to be one dish labeled vegan that included dairy cheese.
I had vegan tacos and a drink.
The tacos were bland, frankly. Especially compared to previous photos shared by others there's much less on them now.

Great tacos, great flavor! The waitress was super nice and said she made the salsa verde herself and it was delicious. They have vegan tacos with tvp and with opal if you order it without cheese. Patatas bravas and chips and guacamole also available

A little hole in the wall taco restaurant that was so good! They have a specific Vegan taco on the menu that’s delicious as well as a Cactus Taco that can be vegan when ordered without cheese that was also really good!

Authentic Mexican taste!! - Edit
Great location in city centre and affordable prices. If you love tacos, this is the place where you can actually find the Mexican taste. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we will definitely come back again for more of this delicious food!

The best vegan tacos ever - Edit
This adorable little restaurant in Bucharest is not an all vegan restaurant but does have a vegan taco option that absolutely blew me away. I have traveled A LOT and they are still, by far, the best vegan tacos I've ever had. Also they have excellent margaritas and the friendliest staff. I would give five stars if it would let me.

Fresh and delicious vegan tacos - Edit
Both going to the restaurant and getting home delivery were flawless. The food was delicious on both occasions. As the other reviewers mention, the vegan options are a vegan chicken (soy) taco and patatas bravas. The wrap is made of corn and this together with the fresh flavors of the lime, onion and coriander give the tacos a lovely, authentic taste. Maybe even better than Wahaca (in London).
Read moreI wanted to give 5 stars, but it seems Happy Cow doesn't allow you to do that for restaurants which are not fully veg or vegan.
The owner seemed very nice and creative so maybe he'd be open to add another few vegan options, how about some vegan fish (unfished plantuna) or even a whole foods one (plantain, beans etc.).

Staff is really nice and the soy tacos were really tasty. Despite the obvious, the tacos aren't spicy and you recieve two tasty hot sauces to spice the food yourself. One taco is 7 lei.

Mexican Food in Bucharest - Edit
My partner and I visited here as we really wanted some tacos. We weren't disappointed!! The tacos were super fresh, delicious and packed full of 'chicken' style TVP. Tacos were 7 Ron a piece, so around £1.20, and we also had brave potatoes (chips with a spicy sauce) and they were 7 Ron too. The vibe is really funky, the staff were lovely and I wish we were still in Bucharest so we could go back!! Definitely worth a visit.
