Great flavours and all gluten free! - Edit
A menu that features less than more - but no more is needed! What they do they do very well.

Absolutely Bangin' - Edit
It's not often you find Mexican food in the UK that hits just right, but to find delicious af vegan Mexican food that also happens to be all GF is the dream. Carolina's really finds that comfortable spot with every aspect of their dishes. The heat is perfect, everything is seasoned and super juicy. I would def visit regularly if I was local, so I'll be making the mission over to Notts more often again just to grab some. Thank you guys!

Hidden away - Edit
Really loved the atmosphere. It feels hidden away in the pub, behind a very uninviting door. But once you swing open that door you're met with utopia. A land of artificial grass, wooden beams and an all year summer feel.
Read moreThe pub itself is very homely. Lots of nice beers including a whole fridge of low alcohol cans, and not an ounce of snobbery.
We were already planning our return when we were there.
The food was really tasty. Its not a glamorous dining experience if that's what your after. But the food is really tasty, not your average vegan meal and will be ready quickly

Pre show snack - Edit
Carolina's is based upstairs on the roof terrace, which isn't immediately obvious when you enter the pub.
Read moreBar staff are helpful in identifying the vegan beers, of which there were 3 when we visited and the beers we had were excellent.
We went upstairs and found some menus, which show a selection of Mexican dishes. The menu states there are specials on the boards but again, these were not easy to find so we chose some quesedillas and tacos from the menu.
On ordering, you are issued with a small alarm to take back to the table, to alert you when your food is ready.
Our food was prepared quickly and we hadn't been back at the table for long when the alarm went off. We collected our food.
The meals are presented on takeaway plates with a wooden fork. There was a lot of sauce to garnish, which meant eating with our hands would have been a little too messy! We both enjoyed what we had ordered, although we both found there was a little too much hot sauce for our palate.
The quesedilla was lightly toasted with contents having a good sweet to chilli balance.
The tacos were a little hotter but the "beef" strips were excellent.
Overall, this felt more like an elaborate snack than a meal, but it was tasty and good for a pre-show bite to eat and would work as something to accompany beers.

Pros: Tasty food , Inexpensive , Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: We prefer less chilli, but that's personal
