An experience! - Edit
Caribean Flavas is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience ! One where the music, the decor, the staff and the spices blend together and transport you somewhere you have never been. Somewhere exotic, warm, and welcoming : right here in Fredericton. The owners care about you, and you sure can taste it in every bite.

I stopped here on a business trip. The owners were very friendly taking time to strike up a conversation with everyone. I like to find the local business that is a little different than the standard fair and this was great.

Great food, bit pricey - Edit
Quick check on happy cow led us to this place which was easy to find. The jambalaya was very tasty but unfortunately the portion was a bit small for the price. The card did not really specify that the lunch dishes were small, but I guess it could be assumed when comparing with the prices of the other dishes.

Finally good vegan options in Fredericton. I am a vegan who is not a fan of tofu until I had the jerk tofu tonight. The food was so fresh and I ordered the tofu spicy. I also had salad and samosa's delivered to the hotel I was staying at. The chef called me afterward to make sure I was happy with my meal. Thanks for the awesome food and great customer service. System does not allow for five stars if not totally vegan.

I called in advance to verify they could accommodate us as vegans. I was told that it wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived we were offered a variety of options. I had the curry which was incredible!!! It was served with sweet potatoes and rice. My friend had a vegan stir-fry. The smoothies were super too. The server really made us feel at home and seemed enthusiastic to accommodate us. She was very friendly (the restaurant is family owned and it shows - service was great). She told us that the roti is vegan too as is some of their soups. I'll definitely be going back again. I loved that curry!!! It's one of the finer restaurants in downtown Fredericton. The curry was about $19 with rice and potatoes and the smoothies were about $5. I believe they are open for lunch on certain days and have a different lunch menu. I'm not sure if they serve alcohol. I'd give this 5 stars if I could but the system only allows 4 stars for restaurants that aren't 100% vegan : )
