Very good, satisfying meal - Edit
The meal was delicious, well balanced (I didn’t feel like there was any compromise to make it vegan), and nicely portioned. We had two different dishes and liked both.

We were in the city at 11.30am and had only an hour of free time before the next trip. This was the only open restaurant actually in the area. Other places were either closed till 12 or in-between breakfast and lunch menus (=closed as well).
Read moreThis restaurant however was very nice and food was tasty. We were the only visitors at this time, but there were "reserved" signs on some tables already, so looks like in the evening it could be full.

Wonderful Saturday lunch - Edit
Nuno never fails me! When I told him I'd be going to Leiria and to count on me for lunch the following day, I knew that the meal would be more than a lettuce salad 🤦♀️🤣 ... and so it was! I was presented with delightful, colorful and so tasty dishes as you can only find in an Indian restaurant, accompanied by a delicious freshly made ginger and peppermint tea 🙏🤗 ... I took the opportunity to bring home delicious veggie samosas. Thank you my friend for your kindness and extreme love you put into the creation of your dishes and even in these troubled times you reinvent yourself to keep on bringing clients into your restaurant.

A special experience - Edit
This is a cut above. More of a formal space, but with the delightful innovation of books on each table to browse during the meal. Apparently they will have talks from authors from time to time. Serves meat and fish but some clear vegan dishes on the menu. We started with a free amuse bouche of hummus with bread rolls. Delicious.
Read moreWe got a little confused in the ordering, as we weren’t shown any menus, and inadvertently ordered the suggested naan bread which really wasn’t needed. There was plenty enough carbs throughout the meal without it. But the owner is passionate about his food, and books, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. More pricey than other places we ate. It’s a more formal place to keep up, plus with the sides and starters we ordered more than in other restaurants. But all very enjoyable.

Although it is not a full vegan place, the staff is very conscious about veganism and provide originally vegan dishes, as well as some adaptations to other dishes in the menu. The staff is so nice and the ambience is great. There is at least a vegan dessert everyday!

Been there this weekend and the vegan options where great, but itis not a a vegan ir vegetarian restaurant! Service is slow, so it's a good place to relax and enjoy over a good meal ;)

The food today was all vegan and super good. So the review should have been 5-stars but the app wont let me. During the Extramurhalas festival weekend the restaurant serves vegan only, during the rest of the year vegan options. It is amazing to see how much love the owner has for his restaurant and the food he serves.
