Great bar! - Edit
Ya, the vegan options are delicious, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and comfortable, the staff friendly and knowledgable, but crazily its the bar that knocks this place out of the park for me. Who knew an Indian restaurant would serve such fun cocktails? Their tequila/lychee martini is my new fav drink. A lil pricey; nice place to bring a date.

Some of the best Indian food in Ann Arbor - Edit
This has some of the best Indian food in Ann Arbor and the nearby area. One of the first and only places in Southwest Michigan to serve absolutely amazing momos (Nepali dumplings) that can be made vegetarian. Their menu very clearly outlines what is vegetarian and what is vegan. Overall would highly recommend to all vegetarians and vegans, as well as people who like Indian food.

Good, but I'd like more options - Edit
I loved this place years ago before I was vegan, but now I think it's just okay. Their vegan options are not that amazing. I love their samosas and roti, but the dal is lackluster and the aloo gobi is just okay (and I love a good aloo gobi and dal-- simple is totally cool with me, but these don't blow me away). If the choices were a little more diverse (like a vegan korma perhaps, or something else on the rich side, as well as something hearty to pair with the otherwise light vegan options, that would be great. I'd come here all the time if that were the case. But, nonetheless, this is a great place to come with my omni family because there's something for everyone.

Best indian in Ann Arbor - Edit
I love this place and eat here regularly. The veg/vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu. The spice is no joke, so go with mild if you aren't sure about it! Any veg entree you get will be great! Also, this place is always crowded and they do not take reservations, so I suggest ordering take out if you can.

Excellent Indian! - Edit
Cardamom has a unique take on India cuisine, possibly because the take inspiration from multiple regions.

The menu is clearly marked, there are a number of vegan options. I'd like more, but even so, I have a hard time deciding. The Vegetable Samosas & Pakora (without the chutney), are two of our favorites from the starters.
Has excellent cocktails!
Pros: Vegan options clearly labled
Cons: No vegan desserts!
