Great Food, many options - Edit
This place was originally not on my itinerary but turns out that many restaurants in the area had closed. I walked in around the lunch hour, I was greeted by friendly staff. They brought me a menu and explained to me where to find the vegan options. I ordered their vegan sampler. Each item on that tray was filled with flavor. I loved everything. Had my stay in La Paz been longer I would have visited for sure.

Frequented this location a couple times during an extended weekend vacation. First day( no pic), I had a tofu scramble a la mexicana that was flavorful and satiating. The second visit, I had the chilaquiles divorciados. I would definitely recommend this location. We didn’t find out that there was live music on certain days until our last day.

We came here twice in less than 24 hours! There's tons of delicious vegan options and you can't beat the prices (if you're used to American prices). The staff was friendly and it has a cute outdoor area, too. They only have menus in Spanish so bring your translator, if needed. Hands down, you must get the patacones!!!! One of my favorite appetizers but they're hard to come by. Absolutely delicious! The mashed potato bowl with Falafel was outstanding! It sounds weird but tastes amazing. The hibiscus tacos were super tasty. My husband loved his burger and also the empanadas! And get the Cold Cake for dessert! It's a raw vegan cake and it's super yum! We can't wait to go back on our next trip soon!

Delightful cafe in La Paz with lots of seating. Would be good for big groups. My partner and I had breakfast here and was the best we have had in Mexico. Staff were super friendly, service was quick and food and coffee was superb. #Veganuary

Totally copying the reviewer before me- I was looking for some good take out to bring with me to Balandra! I got the vegan ceviche and it was so refreshing and filling! They had a lot of smoothie options and even served beer. Big restaurant that seems like it would be great to get some work done in. #Veganuary

Lovely little spot, with extensive menu with clearly labeled vegan options. However, when I ordered from this vegan part of the menu, the food I received didn't strike me as being vegan ... the cheese and sauce was a little suspicious, but the staff didn't know English very well, and I felt bad burdening them with questions, so I put my faith in them that this cheese was just very convincing.
Read moreI also had to try the vegan ceviche, which used mushrooms in place of fish. This wasn't the most exciting dish ever; it basically felt like a giant bowl of diced raw veggies. I think a little more creativity to get the fish replacement more accurate and "fishy" is needed.
All of my non veg friends I was with enjoyed their food.

Pedimos un aguachile, hamburguesa y un plato con varias cosas para probar un poco de todo (éste último nos decepcionó, pues las porciones eran minis y estaba caro para lo que era). Hay empanadas, tacos, bebidas, el pastor está rico. El lugar es grande. Pero bueno. Yo con mi aguachile me doy por bien servida 😅🤗

We we’re looking to go to another place and it was closed(Monday). But found this place on Happy Cow, what a find. Back page of menu lists vegan, lots of choices. I got the falafel burger with fries and my husband got a pita pizza (small). Both very tasty and served with a vegan cream sauce on the side. Still wanted to try the vegan empanadas (very good). Also just so you know the burgers are very good size.

Read moreThe restaurant is not 100% vegan so tell the staff. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I Tried the sampler, tacos, and falafel salad and cold cake: all Super yum! Decently affordable prices also. I will be back many times.
There’s wifi so you can work from there and it’s decently fast! Great coffee.

The vegan tacos de barbacoa might just be the best vegan tacos I’ve had in Mexico. The breakfast chilaquiles are also fantastic. Vegan sampler plate is fun to try. One night there was live flamenco music (which required a ticket purchase).

The staff was attentive. We got lucky and got some music while the band rehearsed for the night event. The al pastor taco was amazing, beans were flavorful, the burger was good but the rest needed some more flavor & salt as the food was bland (I.e., falafel, empanadas, aguachile, tofu a la mexicana, mango limonada).

Vegetarian cafe with a bunch of vegan options. Seems like most things on the dinner menu can be made vegan. Breakfast had some options but a lot contained eggs. Had the falafel, elote and sampler and they were all 10/10. Also have live music some nights and the service was great. Came on a Thursday one night at 7:30 and it was too busy to get a table so consider reservations if you know you wanna eat here. Definitely highly recommend.

It was 2 years ago and It was our last day in a paradise called La Paz (thanks Jorge marine guide). We were looking for vegan friendly restaurant. Jorge recommended this cafe. Definately best choice. We ate all what they offered, staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our last day.
