Their pizza is so good, it's ridiculous. Their vegan cheeseburger pizza is my favorite pizza in the state. It's excellent NY-style or Chicago deep dish. When it's available, the taco pizza is also very tasty.
Read moreThe atmosphere is cute & clean, and the staff is friendly. You can grab whatever alcoholic drinks you like from the cooler, and they have a good beer selection. I wish they had a better wine selection. Since they don't, I usually opt for beer instead.
For whatever reason, they don't actually list a vegan cheeseburger pizza on the menu, and when there have been new staff, they sometimes don't know it's an option, and I've left without being able to get it. I wish they'd clearly put it on the menu for easy ordering. They also run out of Impossible meat sometimes, so it's good to call before you go.

I loved their cheeseburger vegan pizza. It was a breath of fresh air to see every menu item on the non vegan portion could be veganized! So I really wanted to try the cheeseburger pizza as it sounded absolutely absurd and I knew I couldn't get another one like this elsewhere. It was delicious however it was LOADED with greenery and it kinda overwhelmed the pizza but I still really enjoyed the flavor of the pizza! Would highly recommend to any vegans😄

The vegan cheeseburger pizza is amazing and is some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. I’m not sure why, but I don’t think the vegan cheeseburger pizza is on their menu, but it’s always available. Other vegan options include vegan cheesy bread and salads.

this is the best pizza in cedar rapids! i love going to cappys, it feels like home and the staff is knowledgeable on vegan topics. the vegan cheese they use is really good and not over powering and if you like deep dish pizza make sure you get the chicago crust!! soooo good.

The wait staff didn’t tell us that the vegan cheese would cost us an extra $6 per calzone... it doesn’t say it on the menu either $42 for 2 calzones and nothing else. After we got the bill they said that they get their vegan cheese from Hyvee and pass the cost onto customers.

I would leave a five star if the app would let me, it’s only available if the restaurant is full vegan/vegetarian. I ordered a vegan New York with an olive oil base and my boyfriend ordered a gluten-free. The gluten-free is also made in house and we’ve had nothing like it, it was incredible. WE’RE HOOKED!! Thank you Cappy’s!
