Achtung, neue Karte ohne veganem! - Edit
Einziger Pluspunkt: sehr nettes Personal
Pros: Piementos de Padron
Cons: Nix veganes auf der Speisekarte

Good if you ask/service was excellent - Edit
Could have more options/clearer menu. Sign saying vegan food when you come in but only the pudding and child’s menu say the vegan options, you have to ask about the mains. Only really one tapas item and a burger but the server was so helpful to me and so friendly

Not so many vegan options - Edit
Not so many vegan options. I had a veggie burger without cheese, my partner had a normal burger and they were both okay; a bit dry, without any sauce. For the price (18€), we don't think it was worth it.

NOT vegan tangine 😞 - Edit
Ordered the vegan tangine and received the baby goat tangine…! Complained and received the same dish with the baby goat removed. Apetite and trust all lost 😞

Great place! - Edit
Authentic rustic establishment with an amazing array of tapas. Several vegan options. Went with non-vegans who loved the sharing boards they ordered. I had vegan tacos and Canarian potatoes. Food beautifully presented and plentiful. Friendly and attentive service.

Good quality food - Edit
There are a few good vegan options, which is all you need. However, a couple more options would be welcome.

Could do a lot better - Edit
Been here several times and every time staff seem disinterested and inattentive. Not many vegan options.
Read moreThey don’t answer the phone so difficult to book.
The staff sit about and chat. You feel like you are inconveniencing them.
One time the 4 of us ordered the vegan burgers and fries. We were told the buns weren’t vegan and served the burgers without buns - no discount. And they served them with non vegan mayonnaise - good job we asked. 🙄 Pricey for what it is and underwhelming. Feels like a tourist trap.

Esquina Teguise plant based + amazing staff - Edit
They don’t have a lot of vegan options but they recently opened a vegan/vegetarian bar “Esquina Teguise plant based” just in front of the Cantina. Unfortunately the plant based bar/restaurant opens at 11 and closes at 17, not the better time and I couldn’t try it. I ll absolutely try it the next time😄
Read moreIn any case the location is nice and the “Cantina” staff is amazing! They did the best they could to find a vegan option for me😄

Delicious vegan tagine - Edit
They don’t have many vegan options, but the ones available are very tasty and quite big. I highly recommend the vegan tagine, perfect for two if you add an starter such as papas arrugadas.

bad food, nice staff - Edit
We ordered the bowl with marinated tofu (in the end it was just natural tofu, not marinated and cold), the kimchi salad was good. And a burger with vegan patty, it was just buns with a lot rocket, 1-2 dried tomatoes and the patty was burned but cold. We waited 1 hour for the food. The staff gave us free desserts, without asking for it, that was really nice. The quality and the price don’t match.

Lovely Lunch - Edit
Shared some tapas here: sweet potato fries (which were nice and crisp), hummus (which is not my favourite usually but this was delish) and vegan tacos. All were beautifully presented and we sat inside the funky little restaurant. Service was speedy and they pretty much left you to enjoy the food. Was a bit more pricey than places back at the resort but that seemed to be standard for the bars and restaurants on market day. Would definitely recommend though

Definitely one of our best experiences here in Lanzarote. Cosy place in historic building, great staff, nice food prepared with local ingredients, good choice of vegan food.

Nice service - Edit
We were there for dinner and had delicious vegan bowls. The service was amazing, knowing what vegan means and thus even veganized our meals. Nice location, very comfy. Nevertheless a bit pricey, therefore only four stars.
