Comida saborosa - Edit

Food was ok - Edit
They have several vegan options which is nice. Not super flavorful but it's kind of to be expected in such a touristy place. They were very busy.

Nice soup - Edit
We only had the vegetable soup of the day (always vegan) and drinks. The soup was nice but nothing special, the natural lemonade was nice tho.

Very good! - Edit
Very, very good! I'm a big fan of the LX Factory and these alternative places. Cantina LX surprised me with their vegan and vegetarian options and the quality of the food. We ordered the entree of grilled mushrooms and then a soy & mushroom strogonoff which was delicious! The service is relatively quick, and on a Sunday at 2 pm we didn't wait more than 5 minutes for a table.

Muito, muito bom! Confesso-me grande fã do LX Factory e destes espaços alternativos.

Nothing special and expensive - Edit
I appreciate an entire vegan section in the menu, especially when you have in mind that there are not many more vegan options in the zone.
Read moreOn my day there were: soup of the day, a salad and a soy strogonoff, I don't know if it changes daily or weekly. I asked for a salad and the strogonoff (both for about 10€) and it was okay, but too simple. I found it too small and and too simple for the price that I was asked for.
Also there were no salad buffet (as claimed here in HappyCow?).
Pros: vegan section
Cons: expensive, too simple

we are disappointed... - Edit
Nice place, food was okay, but nothing more.
Read moreThe fish of my friend was cold, but had a good flavor. My vegan lasagne didn’t tasted really spacial.
But it was cold and rainy outside and also inside. We were 3 freezing girls sitting there.
We were there for lunch and it took them ages to get the order and the food... waited 1 1/2 hours for it.
They seem to have problems with the printing Maschine, but still didn’t really care.
We are disappointed wouldn’t come back...
Might be nicer in Sommer tough.

Cool establishment - Edit
This place has the feel of somewhere rather special when you walk in, it was bustling on our visit with lots of chatter from customers and busy staff rushing from table to table, people were even coming in just to take pictures. I was impressed with the vegan choice for a place like this and loved the lasagne I had. There are some unsavoury off putting dishes on the menu such as rabbit but a decent percentage of the menu appears to be veggie. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again as there are now ample veggie establishments in central Lisbon to choose from but if shopping in LX factory it's somewhere worth considering.

Sy Snootles and the Max Rebo Band - Edit
You'll find this cool retro cantina at the main entrance of the wonderful alternative shopping, dining and cultural experience that is Lisbon's LX Factory. Nestled right under the overwhelming beauty of the Pont 25 Abril. We had the vegan lasagne and a Goan chick pea curry which were both excellent and priced at €11. The curry was presented in a metal casserole dish with a serving ladle. I liked that. It was also served with a sticky Thai style rice. The lasagne was extremely succulent and tomatoey and came with a spinach and garlic ragout. We also got a carafe of house white wine satisfyingly priced at €5.50. Prior to the food arriving we enjoyed getting stuck into some of their delicious house bread with a balsamic and olive oil dip. After a a quick peruse in the Skunk Funk shop we left LX Factory more than satisfied after a stormtrooping Sunday lunch.
