Limited vegan options

Vegan Reuben is the one decent option in a very non vegan restaurant
Canters is an institution, that’s open late and serves drinks.
I’d be happy if they’d expand their vegan options more

Not a good Reuben. Too little slaw/fake meat is too dry.

A Los Angeles Landmark.

Canter’s, a Los Angeles landmark, has long been off limits to vegans due to its meat heavy menu. Recently, they introduced a Veggie Ruben (corned beef/pastrami on rye).

* note, you must omit the cheese and Russian dressing to make it vegan.

The sandwich is amazing, hopefully they will continue to bring more vegan items to the menu.

Pros: Vegan Ruben sandwich.
