Hours change seasonally.
We were just passing through and stopped for lunch. The establishment is really nice, and the view from the patio is lovely. The staff were nice and ordering was painless. We each ordered a beyond burger with no cheese, which is the only vegan option on the menu.
Waitress didn't know anything about veganism, confused it with gluten-free. I acknowledge most people don't know anything about it, so I didn't fault her or anything. It was just more of an inconvenience than anything. Scrutinize everything. I ordered the Veggie Burger, which she said is the Beyond Burger and sure enough, I could tell it definitely was when it arrived. She would have put cheese on it by default if I hadn't specified, even after saying I was vegan. Comes with chips, which I thankfully found out in time that they have some sort of ranch seasoning they put on them so I substituted for fries. The fries came with some special seasoning on them that might not have been vegan, I didn't ask. My first time getting the Beyond Burger at a restaurant. It was cooked evenly throughout. It and the fries were really good. I got lettuce, onion, and jalapenos on the burger. Lettuce and onion were crisp, jalapenos were crisp and fairly hot for jalapenos. Fries were firm but not overcooked/hard. Overall, a good experience. As long as you go in not expecting any vegan options (I think that was the only vegan option) and you scrutinize everything, you're good. I didn't ask about the cooking techniques for the grill as I'm not a stickler on that. Possible cross-contamination doesn't bother me. For a non-vegan restaurant in little Berkeley Springs, not a bad option.
I've been here many times and the food is always good. I'm pretty sure the vegan burger is the beyond burger. Fries are also vegan. Definitely recommend I would give 5 stars but it wouldn't let me. Oh and the vegan burger is cooked on the same grill as the animal based ones but they told me they clean the grill every time they make the vegan ones.
