Serves meat, vegan options available. Staff will accommodate vegans by offering salad, stuffed vegetables, aubergine or bean spread, soup, pasta. Let your server know.
I ate here after the Samaria Gorge hike was hit by a unpredicted storm, that left hikers soaked. It was a chaotic day for everyone so I can’t comment on the service. It was great to see the menu labeled for veg, vegan and gluten free options. So I immediately felt at ease. I had the bean soup, it didn’t have much flavour but it was nice to have a warm hearty dish. I also had the “aubergine salad” with bread that is somewhat like moutabal. It lacked some salt but you can add that of course. The other vegan protein dish they have is the fava bean dip.
Good they explicitly mention on the menu what options are vegan and which ones are vegetarian. Sufficient choice if you stay a couple of days. I had the white bean soup. It could do with some chili. And as a main dish spinach pie. That was disappointing! Only cooked spinach in pastry. No seasoning, no sauce, …
Very clearly labelled for veg and vegan options, with delicious greek classics done well. Horta and dolmades are a must try for vegans, especially after a tricky trek through the gorge!
We ate here at the end of a long day hiking and a nice swim at the beach. We had only limited time before the 17:30 ferry and our waiter asked about this and they delivered everything very quickly giving us plenty of time to eat and get to the boat.
We shared a number of different plates and everything was so delicious, especially the spanakopita! Prices very fair also.
This restaurant is in a super touristic area, at the end of Samaria gorge, to be able to find vegan dishes on the menu clearly marked was all I needed. Usual typical taverna with many starter to choose from.
Perfect place to finish your day after the Samaria Gorge trek. Standard Greek vegan options like dolmades and Greek salad without feta. Stuffed zucchini flowers were lovely, just remember to ask for all dishes not to be served with Greek yoghurt. Cold watermelon at the end just finshed it off nicely.

Nice place, accommodates vegan and veg - Edit
A few vegan and vegetarian choices, mostly the starters, salads and one of their mains (tomatoes stuffed with rice) and well priced!
