Great vegan chocolate ice cream - Edit
Great vegan chocolate ice cream. Also had vegan chocolate chip cookies. Very friendly, called the owner to make sure the chocolate chip cookies were vegan. Had a few other vegan flavors.

I always visit Cali Cream when in San Diego. Nice vegan options, and waffle cone is vegan too. I’ve had the coffee ice cream and cookies and cream…so good. I’m sure I look lol Ike a 5-year old kid with ice cream all over my face when I eat it. I look forward to trying the other flavors. I highly recommend.

Nice to see vegan options - Edit
Always happy to see vegan ice cream options. We ordered pistachio and mango. The mango flavour was quite good but the consistency wasn’t as creamy as you might expect from a fruity ice cream. The pistachio on the other hand had a more fitting consistency but the flavour was very synthetic and honestly a little unpleasant. Pistachio is otherwise my fav (when made well as Italian pistachio gelato). Service was good and everyone was served quickly. It’s possible to try two flavours for the price of one ($5.75) - the scoops are just a little smaller then (although still big).

Staff was very kind and helpful and knew which flavors were vegan and which were oat-milk or coconut-based. They had more vegan flavors than listed and the pistachio and chocolate were both delicious.

The ice cream is really good, unfortunately they didn't have so many vegan flavors because of a menu change. The cones are vegan, but not very delicious. Very helpful and friendly service. It's kind of pricy, but therefore you get a lot.

I tried the coffee-flavoured vegan ice cream and was pretty happy with it. I wish I tried some other vegan flavours since there were quite a few good looking ones (including cookies ‘n cream and watermelon). All the cones are vegan, including the ones dipped in chocolate (apparently it’s vegan chocolate). Oddly the store charges based on flavours, not scoops. A one-flavour cone is three massive scoops (about $5.5), and a two-flavour cone is four massive scoops (two scoops of each flavour, about $7). I was a bit frustrated by this because I wanted two flavours but didn’t want a massive four scoop cone.
