I would give zero stars if this website would let me

A truly horrible and sad experience. Immediate rudeness from both the owner and another person working there. For a place that asks you to open up and tell them how you're feeling so they can choose a tea for you the exact opposite happened. After sharing, I was interested in something for pain and one clarifying question about teas the employee was annoyed out of nowhere and raised his voice, The owner was extremely judgmental, and assuming while barking at myself, and my friend about her veganism. It is not safe to tell anyone here what you're experiencing so they can help you pick a product. We were immediately met with nastiness. I highly recommend not coming here. Save your money for one of the many other places will you will be treated like a human being. I hope you and your staff learn how to truly embody what it means to be a tea shop that is supposed to be healing. You're rude, judgmental, nastiness is the exact opposite. You have the potential to be quite damaging to people.

Cons: Rude staff, burnt sandwich

My new apothecary

Every time I leave this tea shop, I leave is a more balanced, healed, renewed version of myself. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy and comforting; but the use of good and the as healing agents sets this place apart. Whether my issue is PMS, anxiety or a headache, there is a tea and tonic at my disposal with recommendation from the staff. Food as medicine. Get into
It!

Pros: Healing teas, Delicious spinach patties and hot sauce

Cons: It’s not a national chain

A Gem!

We landed at the Shaw location for the first stop of a vegan walking tour and it's adorable! Plenty of room to stand and drink tea and nosh on spinach samosas. They had many choices for food -- sandwiches and soups and all vegan. Most people were working on their laptops so it must be a popular afternoon place to chill and drink some tea while you work.

Pros: small and friendly, vegan tea and munchies

Cons: small -- not a lot of seating

Tea and snacks

This is the cutest little tea shop, but it is too small. It makes the place feel too exclusive, because if you don't arrive at the right time, you will have nowhere to sit and sip your tea! There are comfy chairs and couch-like seating options, along with a few seats at the counter.

The menu is long, and it's tea tea tea. They have almond milk and usually have one brewed batch of something ready to dispense (almond milk base). It's cool, well- hot. You will definitely find a tea that you like here. If you want green or black, a blend or herbal concoction- you will be fine with the tea offerings available here.

It's also nice that they have snacks- some are vegan, like cookies and samosas. Really though, come here for the tea, and just be happy if you find a seat!

Pros: So many tea choices , Vegan snacks

Cons: Small/ crowded

Unique vegan joint

Calabash offers a huge variety of tea and coffee as well as a small food menu in a little, casual sit down with chill music playing from the speakers.

All the food I tried I enjoyed. Many desserts are from the Sweet & Natural bakery. I liked the veggie samosas, iced tea with ghost pepper, and the cookies.

The staff and owner and incredibly kind and made the experience that much better.

Note: I think this place is 100% vegan even though it's listed as vegetarian. This is according to the staff.
