Don't let their hurried demeanor fool you, Julian and his partner will talk for as long as you want to about anything imaginable - especially their lives as nomads and vegan food! This place is incredible and offers both raw and cooked vegan food. Everything is delicious and healing. Their burgers, elixirs, juices, smoothies, and desserts are creative, healthy, and tasty. They put a lot of work and care into creating great food in an even greater environment. It's one of the treasures of Nice. Most everything you see in there is re-used, recycled, and repurposed one way or another. They have a true dedication to promoting kindness to animals and to one's body. You can even have your astrological and numerological profile read to you if you tell them your birthday :). Also was traveling solo and was introduced to another great traveler that was a pleasure to talk with while eating there. This is apparently a common occurrence.

We each had a vegan burger with the side salad and purple potato chips, which was good. The owners were really kind and chatty and recommended us some places to go in the area. The place is cosy and well decorated.

Whilst I cannot say I've actually visited the cafe, my fiance is in Nice regularly for work and each time she brings me back a cake from this place and my oh my are they damn tasty! If I'm ever in Nice myself I will be sure to visit.

everything about this lunch experience was superb: food, owners, atmosphere. satisfied both the vegan and the omnivore eaters. i can see that this would be a difficult place to get into during the high-season. we found it to be pricier than others have described - well worth it, but just an observation.

Best Burger and Best Smoothie I've Ever Had - Edit
It started out with a green smoothie which was a dream. You can choose between soy milk and almond milk for your smoothie and they have a long list of various smoothies of all kinds of flavors.

It was perfectly rounded off with a piece of raw chocolate cake.
They also offer other raw meals.
The two people working at Caju are very sweet, friendly, extremely hard-working and you can see they want to make every single guest happy.

Love this place so much. It was my second visit and and the owners were just as lovely and welcoming as they were the first time. Everything is cooked from scratch and the food is always healthy, fresh and of course vegan. Many items can also be made to be gluten free. The first time I had one of the delicious chocolatey smoothies and a raw cake - both amazing! And my most recent visit I had one of the tasty burgers (made gluten free by swapping the bread) with a bean brownie - again both amazing food. The place is friendly and inviting and 100% worth the visit. Situated in the old town, you can have a little wander to burn off your vegan brownie afterwards too.

The owners are a young couple, very welcoming, nice, enthusiastic. They explain us all the products very well.
I ate with my mother and aunt who are meat eaters, so we tried a little bit of everything for them to know what options do we have as vegan and they both loved it!
Don't miss the desserts, extraordinaryyyy!!! Soooo tasty!!!!
They also sell vegan products and i think they do take a way.
Don't miss it if you are in Nice, best vegan place in town! :)

We arrived rather late on a Sunday (around 5:30pm) and there were no savoury meals left so would advise you go earlier in the day if you want a proper meal on a Sunday! However we had cakes and smoothies, the chocolate avocado cake and PB mocha smoothies were incredible, a must try. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, could not recommend enough!

Read moreService was impeccable throughout our visit, and the food was good. Honestly I felt like the portions were quite small (especially with the price in mind) and we both ended up grabbing a sandwich straight after because we were still hungry.
We didn't address this to the owners which we probably should have at the time, but you should still go here for lunch - the food really was good (there just needed to be more of it).

We got some amazing freshly made juice and a delicious burger meal. Kept us well fed for our flight back to Sweden.
If you are in Nice, you need to make a stop at Caju.

Read moreWithin minutes I knew instantly that this place was born out of passion and a lot of heart was put in their food quality, equipment and even decoration. All in combination create a unforgettable experience.
You have a very diverse menu which offers salads, soups, burgers alongside a long list of juices, smoothies and homemade milks, teas coffees, list goes on!
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant to everyone I know! I had an amazing time on both visits :)
