Busy, popular place. Expect a possible long wait to be seated and to be served.
Read moreMenu is great although quite limited for food ( burgers, salads, cakes). Varied drinks menu with lots of smoothies, juices and hot drinks with different milk alternatives.
I had a mexican burger (€15) which was delicious, came with a side salad and some crisps.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they speak a few languages including English, Spanish and of course French😄
Overall I would definately recommend a visit to Caju.

Me and my friend came here for brunch and made to feel incredibly welcome by the owners. The food was really tasty, we had the Mexican burger and the pj smoothie is to die for. The current owners have established a great restaurant with a good atmosphere and tasty food. Def worth a trip when you are here.

Fantastic vegan food in Vieux Nice! - Edit
The food is amazing! Easily had one of the best bean burgers of my life here (the Mexican burger). Also had a delicious smoothie and chocolate desert. Everything made in house is whole foods so it's delicious and healthy. They have a wide selection of smoothies and a moderately good selection of burgers and deserts.

The staff were super attentive and welcoming which is a breath of fresh air sometimes for Nice. I am gluten free and they accommodated me for smoothie, lunch, and dessert. I think one of the best salads I’ve had in France. Highly recommend! Cool / casual atmosphere

We arrived on a quiet Friday afternoon and perused the small but tasty sounding menu. Everything was delicious and healthy with raw options and beautiful smoothie, juices and coffees to choose from. We loved the Beauty and the beets and Mexican burgers and the carrot apple and ginger juice was sweet, fresh and spicy. Very impressed and as they were closing early we were treated to the last slice of delicious chocolate avocado cake. Out of this world good 😁

Nice vegan in Nice - Edit
When I visit a city for a week-end, I try not to go twice to the same place for lunch... Caju has deserved this rare privilege! First time, some tasty raw noodles, and the second time, an excellent burger, plus both times a great smoothie. Apart from the food, the staff is super friendly and will be happy to chat despite the fact that the place is extremely busy. Recommend it!

Caju has been on my list of vegan places to try for a long time! This month I finally made it whilst on a weeks holiday in Nice. I was interested to try the vegan restaurant that seems most talked about in this area of France.
Read moreSituated right in the heart of the picturesque Nice old town, it's simple to get too and definitely lives up to the reviews, exceptionally attentive and warm service, with a menu that changes seasonally. I had a lovely chat with the owners.
We arrived for a lateish lunch around 2.30, which meant that only two of the three available burgers on the menu were available. However the two we tried were great! Other options for us would have been 'rawsome vegan life noodles' or little bo bun'
We went for the burgers, and split burgers in to two so we. Like try both. We had the 'Beauty and the beets burger' as well as the 'Garden party' id happily eat either again.
Each burger comes with a side of 'blue crisps' (as described on the menu) Basically light crisps with a natural colouring. This is a nice touch and reminded me of the burgers and crisps served at vegan Mexican places I'd tried. It's a much lighter option than a burger and French fries.
The burger bun comes with with homemade vegan mayonnaise, it was so good I asked for more. If your gluten free there is gluten free bread available on request instead of the wheat bun.
Apparently caju will soon be changing owners, possibly within the next month!
However apparently it will still keep the same ethos and remain 100% vegan :)

Perfect vegan gem in Nice! - Edit
This is the perfect little gem here in Nice!! And the owners are just the nicest couple you could think of :) It's a pitty that this cafe is only open half the week. The smoothies all sound incredible and the one I had was amazing! Nice in general is quite expensive which in my eyes justifies the rather high prices, and compared to other places you get good quality (vegan) food which tends to be rare in Nice!
