Loved the very kind service and delicious food!! Would 100% recommend. Lots of burgers to choose from and the flavours are unique. Tip: if you’re quite hungry have one of their tasty milkshakes as well as the portions aren’t the biggest.

Es gibt circa 8 verschiedene Burger zur Auswahl mit Variationsmöglichkeiten und 2 verschiedenen Buns, super leckere Limos und auch Smoothies & Desserts. Wir haben und zu zweit nach jeweils einem eigenen noch einen Burger geteilt, weil er so lecker war. Leider fehlt mir persönlich eine ausreichende Beilage, es waren ‚nur‘ ein paar Chips dabei. Im Menü mit dem Getränk ist der Preis jedoch total fair, das Personal ist auch unglaublich freundlich.

The couple who owns and runs this place are so welcoming,warm, and gracious that they could put anything in front of you and you will eat and enjoy it! Being an American visiting I’m used to all the meat substitutes and this place felt very very different from that which was good! Plus the little cakes where fun and super easy to eat! Like i said the experience was so positive and delighted that it’s hard to say anything else!

The whole experience of visting Caju was delightful. The owner kindly and patiently explains everything you want to know about the menu (in English if necessary). Interesting combination of ingredients. If you have a sweet tooth definitely try the cake(s). Also the smoothie was awesome.
Read moreInitially I only wanted to pick some take away, but once a seat was free they pushed me a bit to eat at their place. I think they do it to avoid waste, which is again very thoughtful.
Overall just great and a save space for vegans.

Lovely couple who own Caju in the old town of Nice, they were so warm and friendly and the food was exceptional. Freshly made vegan smoothies and cakes that were heavenly. Already planning to return to try the burgers.
Read moreWe duly returned to try the burgers and absolutely were not disappointed, the ‘made in the med’ black bean burger was delicious and light but had a nice spice and the rest of the filling was crunchy and tasty and the apple was a lovely surprise addition. We couldn’t leave without indulging in the cakes they are just so moreish. Definitely will be our first port of call on our next trip to Nice from the UK.

Delicious vegan burgers, excellent service by a friendly couple dedicated to the vegan cause. Perhaps with their delicious handmade burgers, with a variety of ingredients and options, they can help convince more folks to give up meat & dairy? It’s tough in Provence (and France generally), but according to the owners it is improving a bit as veganism becomes more mainstream (and as tourists are asking about vegan options).

Whether you are a vegetarian, vegan, otherwise this is one of the most wonderful places to get a healthy meal in old Nice. The burgers are scrumptious, the smoothies are unique, and the delicious desserts are one of a kind. The owners are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable-I give this lovely little restaurant my highest recommendation!

Highly recommend eating here! The food was really good and so well priced too. It’s all handmade and delicious - we had a burger, cake and drink all for 18€ each. It’s more of a takeaway than dine in, but we got lucky and bagged one of the two seats outside.

The food at Caju is delicious and home-made! Whether you're after a burger, or just a slice of cake and a smoothie you won't be disappointed. The staff are super friendly and know the menu inside-out (a good sign for homemade food). They make their own patties, Mayonnaise, and cakes in a variety of flavours with lovely homemade biscuit crumble toppings. They also have at least one gluten free cake option and a protein bar! The smoothies are 10/10 and there are a range of flavours.

Caju is a takeaway place with only two tables if you end up staying to eat. There is no restroom or tables inside. The menu is filled with burgers, smoothies, and cakes. My husband and I had the Frenchie and the Blossom burgers. Both were really great! We did prefer the beetroot burger to the lentil one, but both were awesome. The couple running the shop are very kind, as well :]

Stopped here for an lunch break recently. It's more ideal for takeaway as it's very small, their only seating is two small tables out front, on the side of a somewhat quiet street.
Read moreThe owners are extremely talkative and sweet and love to chat while you are eating (they're very nice, but it was a bit too much for us, as we also were trying to have a conversation between just the two of us).
The food is homemade and service is rather quick. We ordered their two most popular burgers, and both agree that it was delicious but the portions are a bit small for the price. We also tried one of their cakes, the one with chocolate, date, and almond, which was very good!
Overall an good experience.

Wir waren begeistert und zwar nicht nur von dem absolut guten Essen, sondern auch von den beiden Eigentümer. Beide waren so süß und man merkt, dass dieses Lokal ihr Baby ist. Wir haben auch tolle Tips für Ausflüge bekommen und haben dann unsere 3 leckeren Burger unten am Strand genossen. Es gab Chips dazu und ich hatte noch einen kleinen Bananenkuchen - einfach super lecker und mit viel Liebe gemacht.

Delicious burgers! This place does not serve the type of 'fake meat'-burgers that are becoming more and more popular, they serve real homemade burgers made from beans, veggies etc. Best one's we've had in a long time! The couple who owns the place were really friendly! They had some nice sodas we hadn't seen before aswell which was interesting to try. The place is very small and cosy with only a few seats. Would definitely recommend the place, 5 out of 5 stars!

We were very pleased to visit Caju to pick up some of their lovely vegan cakes; we purchased (& later very much enjoyed) one of each of their cakes! The kind couple were super welcoming & took time to chat to us.
Read moreWe returned a week later for more cakes & burgers! There were 3 of us and we all ordered a different burger. They were delicious! We were all happy with our choice. We also took 4 more cakes home with us. It got busy while we were there which is a testament in itself to how great this little vegan wonder is.
Although (currently limited) seating outside in the alley/ street, don't let this put you off! It is well worth collecting & taking to the beach front, or as we did, sitting at their small table they have kindly provided (we believe they hope to add more soon).
We wish Caju & it's wonderful owners much success. We shall visit again on future trips!
