decent lunch - Edit
I eat vegan meals for lunch there. Even though I'm not vegetarian, I tried them and found them to be really excellent and delectable. I really adore the restaurant's warm, historic setting. Tourists are strongly encouraged to visit and sample.

Over priced as hell - Edit
Fried rice was good. Mango curry was bland. We paid about 5 times what we should have. Don’t recommend. Not worth the price

Good Choice - Edit
We went there, cause it was in the near of our homestay in the old quarter of Hanoi.
Read moreSmall but nice place.
They have a seperate vegetarian/ vegan menu.
We had spring rolls and a salat as starter, both very good.
As main course we had the banana-curry and the mango-curry and both were very good too.
This was a very welcome difference to the mostly fried rice/ noodles all over the place.
Would go there again.
Pros: Seperate vegetarian/ vegan menu , English speaking staff

Worth a visit - Edit
Took a while to find but worth the trouble, food great had pancakes and banana curry which was too much for one person but wanted to try both due to previous reviews , definitely recommend a visit and banana curry was to die for. Staff even showed me how to roll pancakes in case you hadn’t done before.

Ordered the mango curry, it was a little on the expensive side, but it was really tasty. They added some extra spice for me too.

Banana Curry! - Edit
So this is a bit more expensive than other restaurants in Hanoi but the food we had was delicious. Get the banana curry - So much flavour and so different! Loads of vegan and veggie options and a lovely little restaurant with friendly staff.

Vegan options but lacks any taste - Edit
Several vegan options and has vegan on the sign, unfortunately as many have reviewed before the food looks great but no taste, so bland. Because the mango and banana curry said not spicy we deliberately avoided them but every dish appears to come in that category. We had the mushroom and Tofu clay pot and the sizzling crepe both looked amazing but need some taste to get more stars. Quite expensive for Vietnam prices

Get the pancake!! - Edit
So we tried this place (despite the neg reviews) because we wanted to try some Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancakes). We were definitely not disappointed. Although this place is on the expensive side (for Hanoi), 90k for what we had was well worth it! It’s vegetarian but vegan on request, and staff are super friendly and helpful with excellent English. They had a range of other vegan options but not gonna lie, I only had eyes for the pancake.

Spotted this place when I was heading somewhere else for food but it was closed. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the tofu & mushroom clay pot which was nice. Very filling. Averagely priced.

Alright - Edit
This place has a good number of vegan options clearly labelled. I had the mushroom and tofu clay pot and it was okay, nothing to rave about and not worth the price tag.

Fair Value - Edit
The morning glory was stinking of garlic - really delicious and the fresh vegetable spring rolls were great. Fried spring rolls were crispy and good. Noodle soup was a bit bland. Pricewise maybe 90.000VND per person. Judging by other reviews, ordering well is key.

disappointing - Edit
I really wanted to try this place since I set my eyes on their "mango curry" on the menu.
Read moreWe had the fresh spring rolls, which might have been ones the best we have had in Vietnam so far, but the curry was so disappointing. Way to sweet, quite blend, and the texture resembled jelly a little bit. I had to mix in the spring rolls sauce inside and added some chili powder to make it taste better. We also tried a juice that was good.
I would not go back there, or at least not order any of the curry again.
Pros: menu clearly marked between vegetarian and vegan, good juice and spring rolls, friendly staff
Cons: curry

Good home cooked style food - Edit
I'm surprised at how negative some reviews here are. Went in Feb 2018 and had aubergine stew with rice noodles and fresh herbs. Food was tasty if homely. Price reasonable for a small sit-down restaurant in Hanoi.

Don’t try - Edit
We ordered the banana curry and eggplant stew. The food was bland and borderline inedible. It was very expensive. The waiter was very friendly. My sister (meat eater) said the food was inedible also. I would not recommend.

Nice but there are better options in the city - Edit
I noticed this restaurant while having lunch at Jalus, which is right on the opposite side of the street. I went there with my husband and ordered a vegetarian noodle soup, fried spring rolls and potatoes with coriander (served with rice).
Read moreEverything was average. The potatoes were like mashed potatoes, the rolls had too much oil. They gave me the wrong soup, I had to wait for the right one for 15 minutes. The staff is super nice but not very prepared (they don't understand English...).
Hanoi offers better places for vegan food
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Staff doesn't understand English , It is not worth the price
