Best Vegan Restaurant In Hanoi - Edit
We dined here for dinner. Delicious fine vegan food. Beautifully presented food and serene atmosphere, very relaxing. Attentive and helpful staff and great menu and drink variety.

A charming and peaceful address. Delicious food as expected. It turns out that the ingredients to make a vegetarian dish can be diverse, and the processing method is also different, which is mysterious and interesting.

As everyone has mentioned, the decor is great and the staff is very friendly. But the food was quite average. Everything looked nice but tasted very bland. Most of the food was under-salted and the soups were not even hot. We each tried one of the sampling platters (Wood and Fire). None of the items tasted great. I must acknowledge that maybe we went on a bad day, but this was our honest experience of this place. Considering the price, this was quite a big disappointment for us.

Delicious and not terribly expensive, especially if you get the combos. The fire combo was delicious and filling. More than enough food, plus they served a small appetizer and dessert.😄

First of all, the menu is very confusing. They have a set menu where you can choose a few dishes or they have an a la carte menu. The waiter was trying to explain the difference in prices however it really wasn’t clear which would work out the best deal.
Read moreWe decided on the set menu and chose 1 soup, 1 appetiser and 3 “mains”. The portions for each were absolutely tiny and in the end I was still hungry. However, I’m kind of glad they were that size as they weren’t very nice. The mushy soup seemed like the veg was frozen and the ‘pastry’ on top was very floury, the spring rolls were very greasy and veg inside was raw, ‘Mom’s memory’ was bland, the ‘wrap’ was also very greasy and finally the avocado pasta had a bitter, alcohol-y after taste.
After the dishes we were given a ‘dessert’ which was sweet water and a bowl of ice to put in it.
Overall this restaurant looked high class from the outside however the food was lacking and was not worth the money in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I would give one star if i could!

It is really a space that is meticulously cared for, decorated warmly and friendly, giving diners a feeling of peace, tranquility and lightness. Processed food with an easy to enjoy taste, retaining the most natural flavor, beautifully presented. The price is quite a bit higher, but compared to the quality of service, location, food is acceptable.

The best, most beautiful vegetarian restaurant ever eaten in Hanoi. Small portion. Exquisite. Very nice decoration. The menu is just right, just enough, the shape of the map is like that. Great light music space. I don't know how to praise the best vegan restaurant. You should try the salad with truffle sauce.

The vegan restaurant is located in an ancient villa on Nha Tho Street, Hoan Kiem District. Beautifully decorated, airy, comfortable space. Wide variety of dishes, quick and enthusiastic service. Mid-range prices. The staff is very friendly and please note that you should book in advance on the 1st and the full moon day. I'm a vegan and really enjoyed the food here. Will have the opportunity to visit this restaurant on my next vacation.

This was an absolutely WONDERFUL Experience! First I would like to mention that the place is gorgeous & they greet you like a really welcome guest. The service is exceptional & that of fine dining. The menu options are plenty, creative, & absolutely DELICIOUS!! It is a WONDERFUL & pleasant feeling to have a beautiful & elegant place for PLANT BASED / VEGAN food, & it doesn't always need to be some hole in the wall place with salads & hummus and non creative place for a plant based person to eat. Just because we LOVE our HEALTH & care about the non suffering of living beings, doesn't mean we all walk barefoot & not want to dress up & enjoy the finer things in life once & a while.... So if you want AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, HEALTHY & CREATIVE Plant based food in an beautiful space with exceptional service, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CAI MAM BISTRO!!!

Bad experience overall, wouldn't recommend. The restaurant is designed to be a fine dining experience, our waiter was nice but the rest of the staff seemed kind of unfriendly. The set menu system was confusing and the waiter struggled to explain. The service was okay and food was presented nicely but they tasted average at best (most were flavourless) and didn't taste fresh (veg tasted frozen?). Portions were small and even with multiple dishes each it didn't feel like we'd eaten anything.
Read moreAsked for the bill and the waiter then asked us to leave a 5-star review on Google to get a discount which we declined, he then gave us the discount anyway because he was friendly and think he could tell we weren't satisfied.
Overall the meal was bad, maybe the worst we've had and literally cost more than all the other food we've had for the past 3 days combined. Left feeling scammed. We went to another vegan place 5 minutes walk away right after and for the price of the water here (80,000 VND) you can get enough for food for two and far more tasty than anything we got given here.

Was very impressed by the menu and the staff however the food was very disappointing. I ordered a salad which was fine , very basic, and the signature multicoloured noodles. Was served lukewarm and flavourless.

the set menu was very confusing, and not described very well.
Read moremany meals weren’t available and things we ordered didn’t come out as pictured, we would’ve understood if they told us before but having a pictured menu so you could see what things looked like to have something else come out was disappointing.
the fried wantons were pictured as two but only came with one. they tasted okay, not great.
the banana curry was wack. said well blended so i thought it would be more incorporated into the curry but instead was big chunks of banana in a not so great tasting curry.
the pumpkin soup was very lacklustre, the fried rice was very literal. it was just rice that was fried there wasn’t anything else in it. couldn’t finish it.
the staff were very attentive but mostly because there was no one else in the restaurant.
the drinks menu wasn’t very extensive, got watermelon juice but came out warm.
this was all on top of being a very expensive meal for what it was.
