Vegan Salad Bowl

Definitely recommend the Vegan Salad Bowl. It's a good sized portion, delicious and filling.

Its good to see a decent sized salad for vegans.

Hearty Food, Loads of Choice for Vegans!

I knew Caffi Maes had a couple of vegan options before popping in for lunch, but I did not realise quite how many vegan options they had here. Although they only offer one vegan breakfast (they offer two for vegeterians), they have several vegan options on their main lunch menu in addition to having vegan options on their soups and baps menu and on their specials menu.

I was tempted by the Vegan Salad Bowl and the Vegan Soup with Dragon's Crostini, but I went for the Teriyaki Vegan Noodles off their Specials menu. Aside from my companion's meal arriving a good five minutes before mine, I really enjoyed my lunch. The portion was hearty, and the dish was flavourful. The Salt and Pepper Chilli Croutons and the Crispy Seaweed that were served with the dish were sensational, and the dish was absolutely loaded with perfectly cooked chunky veggies. A couple dining next to me each ordered a Vegan Salad Bowl, and their portion was also generous and had a wide selection of fresh salads and fruits.

This is the perfect spot for a healthy and unpretentious vegan lunch. I would absolutely dine here again and recommend Caffi Maes to vegans who are in Caernarfon. I would also recommend checking out their Instagram before visiting as they regularly post updates on menu changes and specials on there.

Great find

We were here around 3pm and desperate for some vegan food and found that only this place was open and still serving food. So regardless of previous experiences, we thought to try it out.

We are glad we did because the food was good. We had a vegan salad, which was a full platter of several vegetable dishes and a tasty grain dish with chickpeas.
We also had the vegan curry which was tasty and also served with a nice fresh salad.

From the terrace we had a nice view on the castle and staff was very friendly.
We would go out of our way to eat here again but it is a decent option.

Vegan options removed from menu

Now just a standard hot dog/burger place. Offers vegetarian but not vegan breakfast.
