Nitro Cold Brew and Plant based McMuffin

It’s nice they have a plant based sandwich. It’s prepackaged and wasn’t heated evenly, but did the job. Nitro cold brew was good

Pros: Nitro cold brew, Plant based sandwich

Cons: Didn’t heat sandwich evenly

Delicious sandwich

Absolutely loved the plant based sandwich with fake egg, cheese and meat (similar to an egg McMuffin in Australia). They also had 2 vegan muffins, 1 cookie and 1 wrap. Staff were very helpful

Nice environment & good coffee

I came here during a Sunday farmer‘s market and it was packed! The line moved quickly, though, and the food was warmed quite fast. Although not the best breakfast sandwich I’ve tasted previously, it was really nice to have a vegan option here! Coffee is hands down one of the best in the area.

Pros: Delicious coffee, Vegan breakfast option, Quick service

Cons: Tad expensive , Less vegan options than other shops

Vegan breakfast sandwiches!

One of the very few places in Ballard to get a quick vegan breakfast. The sandwich has just egg and vegan sausage so it’s very filling. They also have a vegan wrap and some vegan sweets from flying apron.

Pros: Solid vegan options, Not as expensive as the cafes nearby (low bar)

Cons: Another vegan pastry would be nice

Great dark roast coffee

These days most independent roasters try to get as far away as possible from the Starbucks-style dark roast. So they end up serving very sour light or medium roasts. As a dark roast lover, I am so glad that Caffe Umbria is here!
