Great surprise - Edit
I was so glad to have this vegan and gluten free cafeteria across the street from the hotel I stayed in Puebla, specially on the Chiles en Nogada season (such a fest). This is the made from scratch flavors that I appreciate and I can recommend anything from the menu but I really enjoyed the mole. The attention was always very friendly. I ordered the mushrooms tinga and as they didn't had tostadas they offered me totopos instead. The place is a small cottage whit terrace surrounded by trees It made feel like being out in nature.

I was positively surprised to find this café in the middle of Puebla with so many vegan options. The French Toast was really tasty and the staff friendly as well. I highly recommend this place!

El jardín está bonito, y la comida deliciosa. Pedí un bagel de no-salmon. Me encantó que todo es orgánico y muy saludable, además que los sabores únicos. Hay que esperar un poco para recibir la orden, pero es slow food, entonces ya sabes a lo que vas. La espera vale la pena.

This place is pretty much vegan, only one dish with eggs makes it vegetarian. Pretty settings with outdoors sitting. At times you can smell the river (which isn't pleasant). The service was great, the prices are reasonable. The food was good but not impressive.

We were drawn to this place for its variety of vegan options, and we were not disappointed. The menu boasted a wide range of vegan choices, with the only non-vegan option being eggs 'huevos'.
Read moreTo start, we savoured the delightful flavour of freshly squeezed juices, without any added sugars. The water of the day was equally impressive, with a unique and delicious taste that we couldn't quite put our finger on.
We ordered the guacamole and homemade blue corn and sesame corn chips 'totopos', which were both tasty, but we found the portion size a bit small. However, the attentive waitress was happy to bring us extra chips at no additional cost.
The raw vegan brownie was simply divine, and we were pleasantly surprised by the orange and (we think) mezcal flavour of the accompanying vegan ice cream.
The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, nestled amidst lush greenery with ample shade. We were the only patrons at the time, so our food arrived quickly.
Overall, it was a fantastic spot for a day out and a well-deserved treat.

Small, delicious local Vegan Restaurant in Puebla - Edit
Cafetería También is a small restaurant located in Puebla (right off the busy main highway). The location is so beautiful, with a non smoking green area to relax and eat.
Read moreThe atmosphere was very chill and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the portobello filete (SOOO yummy). We also ate a typical dish that contains chile and chocolate, stuffed with jackfruit (very typical Mexican). It was very unusual, but I’m so glad we ordered it and tried something new. If you are here, I highly recommend ordering something with jackfruit. They do not have soy products here, so this is a great alternative!
The dessert was, without a doubt, the most amazing part. The chocolate, banana, peanut butter/nut cake was SOOO tasty and we ended up ordering two.
The service and prices were great and I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Healthy Vegan Food With Lots of Variety! - Edit
Great outdoor ambiance here, and the food did not disappoint. Everything is natural and organic, and their menu options are really creative. Great guac, the Portobello Mushroom Fillet was incredibly flavorful, and we finished it off with the best cake we've had in a LONG time (peanut butter chocolate cake with nuts, dates, banana and strawberry). Would highly recommend coming here!

Best of Mexican - and all Vegan! - Edit
All the Mexican food in delicious vegan version and at very good prices! During our 3 day visit to Puebla we went twice as there were so many yummy options. As a bonus, it ls pet-friendly. All the staff and owners are very nice.
